Yes because playstyle is the only thing making an LP worthwhile, nothing to do with the LPer or how its put together and organised as well as what's shown on camera/what's said and what gets edited out.
But obviously you're right in judging something yet to happen, and without knowing his skill as a player or LPer.
(given what the mods capable of; there's a lot of interesting content and automation to show off- He's got a fair chance ya'know)
yea... sleeping during the day really should be possible, just make it so when you sleep during the day the time passes as normal time till you actually hit the night

Scratch that- if Direwolf put the whole thing up as 2hr episodes it'll be pretty boring too. Thats the magic of editing.
Though the first few episodes would be genuinely interesting- theres probably several things we'll learn that'll make it a lot easier.

And my word, it is awesome.
I know about somnia, I even used it in the past, but it's just.... at one point I just started sleeping all day just to have the world quickly advance so everything happened faster, so I started really abusing it. after that one world I played with it, I never installed it again afterwards...
but to be honest, I don't know what has changed since then with the mod, maybe they've changed it to prevent people from abusing it like I did
That's why I prefer guides and spotlights. All the normal and tedious things are edited out, and what's left is the(should be) raw information that I was looking for.
Definition of "Lets play" seems to be literally watching someone playing. Most often than not watching someone unprepared following a vaguely(at best) laid out plan. I really don't see the attraction in watching someone else play the game for me.
And all the view count grabbing by naming the LPs as something very specific when in fact its 30 mins of boring stuff and maybe 1 minute of undetailed and uninforming use of the mentioned thing. Grrrr! Actually started screening out 30 mins long videos when looking for information.
I wish more people would make short detailed and informative guides of things instead of yet another mediocre LP.
I used it back in 1.2.5 - it's still just as easily abused, if not more so. You can change how long to continuously sleep in the config - I had mine on a week the last time I used it
but alas, now I play vanilla Unleashed.Spawning in an area with no sheep or cows for miles.

That happens to me a lot. There always seems to be at least one necessary domestic mob missing. And it usually isn't pig. >_<
The fact that blue slimeballs and green slimeballs are not completely interchangeable - safari nets still need vanilla green. And did I start anywhere near a swamp? I should be so lucky.

Well you need the same setup for making router upgrades, so its one of the first things I make anyway. And you dont need all the solar panels now. You can just feed it steam from a boiler.
Just tried in creative - and holy hell it works! That's awesome. Wonder what else can be stuffed through a unifier? Apart from ores, of course.
It can turn DartCraft tears into vanilla ghast tears; given that you've got a vanilla ghast tear that you can use to key the Unifier...otherwise, if memory serves, it'll make the DartCraft ones first, for some reason.
Alternatively, you can use a DartCraft force pipe or storage unit with an item card that's been upgraded with the Forge upgrade to convert tears in to ghast tears and blue slime into slime. Handy if you live in a sad world without MFR.
