up to ep12 is recorded. Ep10 will be made public tonight.
Looking forward to it!

Most LPers record a lot in one go. Then edit it into eps and upload them on at a time. So you can have EPs on scedule and still have a life.
I see, I know that videos are often recorded in bursts, but I can't imagine three episodes in advance for minecraft. Maybe two.

Mainly because of the prep time required for minecraft episodes.

Well didn't Direwolf have like weeks of episodes made before Pax? I can see that being totally reasonable for people to do things or attend events. Some of the Yogscast did the same thing as they are going to E3 this week.

I record whenever I have time/inclination and if that means I get more than 1 ep in a backlog then so be it :p

Well, some of the vids are obviously shot in one sitting, mostly because of multiplayer and such. It makes sense to do it then.

Events are special though, indicating that you don't do something normally.

So I was not happy with the start of my space box. But that is just how builds go you will almost always need to rip something apart because you wanted to add 1 more block of space. Well 2 in this case.

So I widen the cargo hold. Added the top part of the landing ramps. the place they would fold up to. I like how deck one is coming along.

Got to work on the 2nd half of deck one. Engineering. I rounded the back of the ship off... Because that is why.

And having learned I can totally do thermopiles Built two. These will get a second layer. And no they will not by my main power in the end. They are the .. um... space batteries for the ship. And they will power some of the small automation I'll need while working.

So that is the basics of Deck one. Next I got to get the maintenance deck build and then deck two... then some skin blocks to shape the thing out.

Wait a darn second here, are you suggesting that OTHER people get to see your stuff before the public?!!!???!!?!? (and one more ! just for good measure)

That's like totally uncool!!! (or cool if you're one of the people that gets early viewing privileges).

Oh well, looking forward to the next one. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1370533148][/DOUBLEPOST]Looking like a cool ship there. Shaped like a brick. A true science fiction fan right there. Who needs wings in space ... no air. :)

I am super-stupid for not doing it this way.[DOUBLEPOST=1370533841][/DOUBLEPOST]

Awesome stuff, Saice. I can't wait to get in there myself and look around.

You should check out TJ's most recent RR letsplay episode. There is a build I proposed (and he dramatically improved) that might actually be inspirational for your theme. It uses inverted vanilla light sensors, pistons and liquid glowstone to create pillars of light that only appear at night. They start at the ground, so there is no downside to the build. They look totally amazing, though.

Finally, note that the heat generators are cool and useful, but for trickle power. And before you make any long term plans, you should ask EternalDensity to show you his AS nuclear reactor setup if you haven't seen it yet. I bet a small reactor would fit on your engineering deck and it'd be totally sweet if you had to wear a radiation suit to visit your house. ;)

I think most LP's start in stupid manners.

That's a pretty cool use of the liquid glowstone. Hmm.[DOUBLEPOST=1370534176][/DOUBLEPOST]
I just thought of an FTB forums pickup line:
"Girl, you make something rise, but it ain't the Reasonance"

That was so bad you may now throw rotten tomatoes at me.

*facedesk*

You don't deserve these tomatos.

Linda see's them early, everyone else has to wait. There are some little exceptions, like sometimes I upload just tiny outtakes

All you lucky people on resonant rise :(
Nice build mr shoop!

You can build the modpack yourself and follow along, sir. It is not "hard", just 'tedious' to wait through all the adf.ly delays. 80% of my maintenance time is spent waiting on adfly, 15% is testing the mods out in test builds, and 5% is actually playing.

Also there is a european test server that you might be able to get on, then you are in the private pack circle and can get the download link.

I was meaning the server, I've found it hard to play any modpack atm. I'm thinking if i play on a server with active advice and critisim on builds/what to do i would enjoy playing more.

EDIT: I can build the modpack if i want, just i remember the days of old when you had to download every single mod and go through adfly links which could take me up to and hour. And that was before id conflicts....

Well, if that's what you want, then you can do three things:

1) Make an LP
2) Make a forum post to show progress
3) Both! :p
