If they go "Boom", you let the Deficit build up too much. Get a good light Nexus system running and slam crystal pillars next to the fabricator. Should help.

What's the change with Light Nexuses? Sadly I get to play a lot less than I want to, so I dunno.
Some of us were not informed of that before the change was pushed, so our existing setups went boom without notice
They shed Deficit 25% faster then a normal nexus. A dark nexus loses it 25% slower, plus they spawn darklings and do other crazy things now and then(more so if charged up).
Also a Light Nexus is built with nether quartz blocks for the pillars now(not snow) and instead of glass you can use gold blocks for like a 1000% charge rate boost or diamond blocks for like a 10000% boost(or something like that). Point is, don't top them with glass if you've got diamonds.
