People who do not like fully automated stuff in vanilla will hate my vanilla world, current project is automating the organization and storage of materials mostly gathered through automation. Then I will try to automate the gathering of sand from a desert:p:D.
Hey, half the people's opinions on vanilla here are either "I don't know basic redstone LOL, that's what mods are for" or "Vanilla is stupid, doesn't have enough mods".

Also, how are you doing the sand automation? I would like to do that as well.

I don't have any plan currently on the sand project, and if it is like 90% of my projects it will not work at all. The organization project is currently being a pain to due to a mixture of nether portals, chuckloading, minecarts, lag, and my general "It must look cool/pretty!" making it a big time sink that I have not felt like dealing with lately. The sand project just popped into my head the other day and I thought it would be really useful if I could get it to work somehow.
My vanilla world is a good reflection of my brain now that I think about it, a big mixture of unfinished projects due to either time limits or being distracted by the next thing I see:D

In vanilla, I just used a duplicator I designed:

The image is from 1.3.2, but it should still work in 1.7.10.

And attempt not to be like me and procrastinate or refuse to fix problems. MCSM would be done by now, but my workspace refuses to work and I don't feel like attempting to fix it.

Don't, it leads to shitty mods. A bad reputation. If you want to make a mod code it with Forge yourself. You'll learn some stuff along the way and make a better product in the end
All my attempts at learning code have proved to be disastrous and a jumbled mess of non-remembrance. I've never been able to remember a single string past 3 days. I, myself, am using MCreator to make a progression mod that adds A) more tools beyond diamond, and B) A diamond hammer to crush tiering ores into dust and allow people to make alloys

I'm completely self-taught. My experience is this. The more you learn the easier it is to learn. Start slow, then build up

My opinions on that can be detailed as follows
  1. Tools beyond diamonds will not be very interesting if they do not have special effects, something which has to be done through code
  2. By using MCreator you will learn nothing, you will make your mod worse, and you will earn a bad rep
I am by no means against graphical coding strategies. Unity and Unreal engines have great graphical linking, but pure graphics for coding is not powerful enough, and I doubt it ever will be

What we really need is a superhuman AI that codes the game for you. You just tell it (or he/she, if it identifies itself as a specific gender) what you want, and it codes it for you (think Jarvis from Iron Man).
