Wait a second, homophobia? I'll be getting a soda.
I do like soda!
Don't you hate it when you see gays spiders on the walls while trying to get a sprite?
I usually kill them because their legs views and the type of people they are creep me out.

Lost as always
Oh the bible is terrible as a moral compass. I believe myself to be a good person and my life has never been tainted by the homophobic bigoted egotistical disgusting doctrine that is Christianity.
To be fair, that was caused mostly by Constantine and King James. Basically, when they 'translated' the texts, they used the most bigoted and egocentric meaning of the translations, because they were created to further the political goals of the aforementioned individuals.

Case in point, in Genesis, the word 'God' in the original Hebrew was both gender inclusive and plural. Some indicate this was talking about a pantheon, others believe that the being in question was so vast that to emphasis this vastness, they employed the 'Royal WE' to describe it. Latin and English do not have gender inclusive pronouns, so they just defaulted to the masculine pronoun, because CLEARLY a divine being MUST be Male to emphasis the superiority of male over female in their regime, because all the guys in power are guys and they need an excuse to put the women in their place.

Of course, another thing people like to forget is that Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi. He never once asked to be worshiped. In fact, in every instance, he gave credit to the Father for the miracles that happened. So you could say that Christianity as an institution is... well... blasphemous. Not to mention violating the first three commandments, but that's a whole 'nother religious debate, and probably not appropriate for this forum.

Nah, I'll stick to my Schweppes Citrus.
Damn, that thing is great. But I'll let the discussion roll on while you and me share some popcorn.

You obviously have never heard of the Trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the same, but different. They are all one God, but three persons with personalities.
Anyway, I'll be back in an hour or so.

...What the actual fuck happened in this thread? I came in here to learn a bit more about the Genetic Machines in Extra Bees and just waded through several pages of shit about religion vs science.
I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion. I understand that Jesus had some very specific teachings which all boiled down to "Love Thy Neighbor". That right there is reason enough to respect the teachings of Christianity. But as a very wise man once said:
“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

And in my opinion everyone in this thread needs a swift kick in the ass with a frozen boot at this point.

Can we drop the arguments about Evolution Vs Creation? Because as I'm sure everyone in here(save for a specific few) doesn't fucking care. I know I don't fucking care about "who's right" or "Who's wrong". I cared enough to look in this thread to find out about bee machines. And somehow it's devolved(YES DEVOLVED, IT EVOLVED INTO A STATE WHICH IS CLEARLY A STEP BACKWARDS) into a dick comparing contest about who is correct about something as fucking massive as evolution.

So, can we get the FUCK back on topic here? I would love to know why everyone is saying that the Splicer and the Sequencer are useless. I mean, I can see a very valid use for them.(want to get some bees which are somewhat common but you can't locate enough hives? Or maybe you're after some of the more exotic bees from Extra Bees which you can't get from common bees? Or maybe you have a friend who is in a jungle but you're in a desert, and you want to make a apiarist suit but don't want to travel all the way to the jungle to find a single hive?)

Because it's faster and easier to just do it the natural way.

Let's say you have a set of tropical drones and your buddy wants a couple. You can either:
1) blow all the drones on making a template then spend a bunch of energy and DNA on infusing the template into the new bee
2) put a princess in an automated apiary with the drones and some chocolate frames.

The second is cheaper, easier and faster, plus it gives you items.

Then there's the fact that the sequencer and splicer only work on hive bees and common bees, which makes it worthless for anything past very, very early game use.

*sighs*
I guess I'll have to try it...
I assume most people don't consider orange soda a citrus drink?
By citrus soda I mean those sodas who are grapefruit, apple and "I forgot what" flavored.
Orange soda is different, so is lemon soda.
Anyway, can we get back to the discussion?
Otherwise I'll have to rewatch FLCL by the seventh time to see if I understand it.

Oh, sure, discussion. Uhmm...
The guide isn't all that great in it's entirety, I should probably make a guide or two, and it should have a link to the best bee-breeding spoiler list-thing available.
I know there was this one site that had a "family tree", and it was so smooth and easy to understand for each bee. The charts that exist are oftentimes not...done/right, and you have to keep scrolling around. Oh, want X bee? Well, you'll need to find it, then you'll need bees S and W, then you'll need E, G, Z, and I, as E and G make S and Z and I make W. Just obnoxious. But I think the really good site I was talking about went down, which is unfortunate :p

EDIT: And the apple isn't a citrus fruit ;)
All the sour ones, so in reality lemon and orange (as well as grapefruit) are citrus sodas.
But apple soda does sound good, I've had sparkling apple juice (I think it was) and it was a quality beverages.

Oh! I get it now, my mistake :p

The website went down, it was by far my favorite. I wonder why?
And I can see the relaxation of bees until alevaries and automation come in...so hectic!

When an admin comes on, this thread is going to get the shit locked out of it, WTF does this has ANYTHING to do with Feed The Beast or Bees? Jesus(noffense), Christians need to quit getting fazed by atheists, and atheists need to quit getting fazed by christians. :p
I mean, I'm a christian, hell 33% of the world is christian, but does that mean I have to start off-topic flamewars on ultra-niche gaming forums, or even give atheist-flamers the satisfaction of replying????

I
It's a good site, but for people who just want to know how to get from X to Y, it's annoying. Mostly it's all the links you have to click to get from one bee to another. Like radioactive bee. You'll have to go to the bottom, click on one of the two bees there, and go to either of those bee's pages and the bottom of that, and find more bees you have to go through. If everything were on one page, like that website I was talking about that nobody seems to remember but me :p...[DOUBLEPOST=1367628178][/DOUBLEPOST]

There is a bee chart map (a bit outdated) on the Collected Guides Thread. I should install GIMP and start making a mess of a chart. Or find out a good free website host that can make it easier. I think I'll just install GIMP, but if anyone knows a good second option, by all means, state away.
