This isn't going to work as well if people draw the line about what type of Civ5 they'll play. My preferred DLCs are less important than getting new people involved, and the DLCs add a number of new mechanics that will complicate things for new players.If we do vanilla civ V no dlc i might not play. Yeah. Thats true. But i really dislike vanilla. With gods and kings its a nice game. But i love it with brave new world
Personally, I find Gods and Kings to be pretty important, and it's the one the revamps the combat system (yay more HP).
But oh well, Pyure's just gonna win the science victory on like turn four anyways, who cares.

Yeah. Main features are
Gods & Kings: Combat system, Religion, Some science revamps
Brave new world: Tourism, Traderoutes
Meh. I don't think that. It makes it easier to get money. And adds another win condition. Its not really a whole revamp
I find it harder to make money. The AI is like "we gonna kill you" and destroys all my trade routes.
Depends on what level you play on.
If you like me play on deity. Yes they tend to destroy your trade routes.
If you play prince they won't
i have a horrid feeling my times won't mesh. 1-6pm UTC, then 2am-7am (all day Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday)

I am eying G&K as well as BNW... Saw some WW2-era leaders in the Workshop. Be interesting to give that a whirl sometime, but pity the one who gets Hitler.
