I'll post pics when I'm ready to advance. Right now it's a lot of dirt... And terraforming. Lol. Pretty well got the ol' dirt 6x6 remade with oak wood. Terraforming is for the expansion of my house. At the moment... Trying to get my 8 month old to sleep. Wish me luck lol

In my challenge I finally got around to starting to wire the village. I found that because there isn't any autocrafting happening even my slow water wheel is enough to get power to at least a few machines in the industrial sector. Plus I added tanks to the Pumpers' building.

I know. I'm actually a fair ways away from it. My start is actually near a AE2 meteor. Going to use it as part of the lore of the kingdom. Something along the lines of "when the meteor fell from the sky and wiped out all but a small few..."

Heh, I started one time near a meteor and used that as my start. Kind of "you wake up near the edge of a large crater. You have no idea who you are or how you got there..."

So yet again I'm not emailed about all these posts. *sigh* I guess I'll just make it a habit to check here often.

Or use tapatalk if your phone supports it

Personally I just check the link I gave back the last time I suggested fixes. But that is part of my big group of "daily check" links.

Turning in to a horrible neighbor to that witchery village. Since I can't use it as population.... I've decided to ransack certain buildings for materials. Ie: the rail craft building for the rails/bricks. Stole the bee keepers apiaries. The mystcraft villagers writing desk. Every book I could get my hands on. Hehe... Eventually will go on a killing spree...

I don't have a smart phone. Just a prepaid refurbished Tracfone. I have some other gadgets too, of course, though the only two things I have that are anywhere near being kind of expensive would be my tablet and laptop, though my tablet was only a bit less than $200 (I use "only" lightly here).

And Scottly, I think everyone has ransacked villages in the past.

The challenge is Refugee to Regent. Nowhere in there does it specify you have to be benevolent.
After all, those hapless villagers have no idea what that shiny new building near them is for, only that it has a 4-letter logo spelling WCKD...

[...]I think everyone has ransacked villages in the past.

I try to be a good neighbor most of the time, I don't take anything other than crops from villages, and I replant what I take. The only exceptions to this were (1) when I found a desert village that just had a really awful spawn with sludge pools everywhere, and between those and the cacti, the villagers were bent on self destruction anyway, and (2) I sacked the villagers responsible for a rogue moose that once bit my sister...

A Majestic Moose once bit my sister ...

No realli! She was Karving her initials on the møøse
with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given
her by Svenge - her brother-in-law - an Oslo dentist and
star of many Norwegian møvies: "The Høt Hands of an Oslo
Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mølars of Horst
Nordfink".

This is the only thread here that I'm subbed to (and thanks to frequent visits it's at the top of suggested websites I could go to when I type the word "feed"), so it's really not a hassle.

Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Sidenote: I'm now a week ahead in my class (and tomorrow's the first official day of class) so that means I have time to work on editing episode 4 and may even have time during the week to record episode 5. I dunno. We'll see!

Also - I should be getting a door for my room soon (meaning cats will be less likely to interrupt) so whenever that happens recordings will hopefully be a lot smoother.

Also Also - I'm not sure how many of you guys know or are aware but there was a group of improv guys Markiplier was about to start collaborating with called Cyndago. Unfortunately, one of their members (Daniel) attempted suicide on the 16th and, due to brain damage, passed away on the 18th. Please keep these guys in your thoughts. This means that Cyndago is ceasing all further activities.

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone would be willing to be my go to for fixing crashes that I seem to make consistently? I have a small amount of an idea as to what needs fixing sometimes, but on the cases when I don't I'd like some help in both understanding what happened and how to fix. My last plan kind of went out the window and my modpack will now be massive. I've downloaded a bunch of stuff I like and want to install, but it takes it's time with conflicts..

So far I have the below added, with a few problems that I'm trying to fix:
I am using the FTB Lite pack as mine now and have removed most of the mods that are in there except what I wanted anyway

Starting with a preexisting pack and removing mods from it so far is your only main goof-up. Those were made to work specifically with those mods so if you're not careful you can remove something that other mods are now heavily dependent on. It's far easier to start from the ground and go up. That also means you get to play with the latest mods whereas premade packs usually use older versions. So far I haven't had many troubles constructing my own packs.

You also may find it helpful to read all the technical info mentioned in mod OPs because some mods from the start have issues with working with other mods and the authors, being the kind souls they are, let you know so you don't have to go through the trouble. There are also some that are not forge compatible and OptiFine tends to not agree with very many mods.

I found it easiest to mod using the FTB launcher as a start, that way forge is already installed. Most mods I removed except those that I knew were fine. I do plan on getting the most recent version and replacing the mod pack version of the mods. Do you have a better suggestion of what to use to help with starting from the ground up?

Awesome, thanks Sensei!
I'll pm my latest crash at some point later in the day.
I did have enchant ID conflicts earlier, but I learnt a bit about how to understand crash reports the other day, so I managed to fix that.
