I'm not sure if anybody is willing to help or not, but I can't seem to be able to make the last jump for the Factory wool. It's the last wool I need to figure out before im done with my test run.

EDIT: Nevermind, I believe I have figured it out.

Try to jump towards the back of the first slime thing. Should give you enough boost to make it to the other two.

Yeah just try and aim at the back of the slime thing. The angle should give you enough air to continue.

Anyone have any tips for beating the part with the bounce pads in the applied energetics 2 room, I've spent at least 10 min on it and i think I'm doing something wrong

im having trouble finding the factory. All the other areas i did easily but now i cant find the factory and im stuck. ive wasted 20 mins lookig for it. Help plz...

Make sure you investigate both sides of the helix. That was the last area I found too.

So the "AE2 room" is the same as the "Factory"? I've been calling it the "Wall Buttons" room.

I've spent at least 40 minutes in there without any success and with much frustration.

Here's my own little tip for other dumbbells like myself... after you press the first Wall Button, you don't have to keep doing the first section because after many minutes I suddenly realized there is a ladder on the first part of the next Section. That help speed me up and lowered my frustration, but I still cannot get anywhere, the fifth jump is completely impossible to make.

MY take so far: Factory is impossible. Pirate Ship is impossible. Bee Hive is impossible. Hollow Hill is a total mystery. Other than that, this map seems pretty easy. LOL Yeah right. 5 wools in 104 minutes so far. Only 11 to go!

I think a "competition" would only make sense if players could only make one run without ever having seen the map before. As it stands now, it will become a "fast-twitch" reflex competition, which is fine, but not my cup-of-tea.

I sure hope you have a way of catching such a thing, because if there's one rule in our world, it would be that if you give away something expensive, then every immoral and unethical "human" being will come out of the woodwork to lie cheat and steal to get it. They've ruined pro sports (think 'steroids' and underinflated footballs) and they'll ruin anything if able. Sorry for my social commentary and sweeping generalizations but it really bothers me sometimes. I think the value of the prize far exceeds the value of the competition, but I hope that doesn't come across as sour grapes or raining on anyone's parade. I just hope the winner is legit.

I will also admit that my first runs of this used the 2-block jump that tahg has been talking about. (Same with a lot of people) I/we didn't realize that it was considered cheating, so now any future runs I/we make will simply be without that skip. There really isnt much else to say on the subject, just to move on and improve our times. Also, I have been quiet on the forum, but my times have been in the 15-14 min range. I'm sure that none of us want to cheat to win, so we just listen to what we need to change, then change it.
