There's a forum for all the what-if and comics. Maybe that's what he's talking about.

Its "hidden": there's no obvious link to the forum from the comic that I know of.

Oh...I get the joke now. He's referencing one of the comics, where it talks about a secret "help" chat.

May I ask how you guys transport this high Amount of RF-Energy? Do you use Tesseracts everywhere? Because TE-Cables have a limit of 10.000RF/t, The biggest Magnetostatic needs more than that and A Turbine produces ~150.000 RF.

Either Tesseracts or the Electricraft RF cable, which has unlimited rf/t per connection.

Heh thank you - the FTB Modpacks are missing so much :D

Btw. I tried TechWorld2 with updated Mods (RoC, ReC, DragonAPI) for 1.6.4 and the first thing I see is that Gold Flakes and Iron Flakes lost their Ore Dictionary Names so I can't use them as dusts for Alloyrecipes. Is that intended or did I do something wrong? Basicly no flake has any OreDict name, which makes them a bit annoying to handle with.

That was done to fix exploits.

Just wondering, like what?
Certus Quartz Flake -> 3 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 3 Certus Quartz Dust -> 3 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 9 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 9 Certus Quartz Dust -> 9 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 27 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 27 Certus Quartz Dust -> 27 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 81 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 81 Certus Quartz Dust -> 81 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 243 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 243 Certus Quartz Dust -> 243 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 729 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 729 Certus Quartz Dust -> 729 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 2187 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 2187 Certus Quartz Dust -> 2187 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 6561 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 6561 Certus Quartz Dust -> 6561 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 19683 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 19683 Certus Quartz Dust -> 19683 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 59049 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 59049 Certus Quartz Dust -> 59049 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 177147 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 177147 Certus Quartz Dust -> 177147 Certus Quartz Flakes -> 531441 Certus Quartz Crystals -> 531441 Certus Quartz Dust -> 531441 Certus Quartz Flakes -> kaboom.

Ah okay it makes sense for everything where you get more from each flake, but I don't really see it for normal metals, where transition is 1:1

Ow! My non math day! No more math!! But seriously, that is just too much. I can see server owners having a fit over that.

I think this may have been brought up in a prior post/thread, but when using the friction boiler on 64 buckets of water, I get 64 buckets of steam, piped out at slightly greater than standard sea-level pressure (101.5kPa, if I remember right from the WAILA pop-up). Following realism, steam expands to approximately 1700 times it's original volume-while this seems a tad ridiculous of an expansion rate, and should be probably nerfed due to 2rf/t /mB of steam using a steam dynamo, 1 bucket of water -> 1 bucket of steam seems rather low (especially with the displayed pressure).

Long story short, was looking to try and replace my steam boilers, but the water requirement seems a tad bit...excessive. Figured I'd request the numbers as to why the steam yield is what it is, if Reika wouldn't mind.

Edit: had to chuckle when I saw the previous post regarding math...

Well, this is how BigReactors are doing it, and this is why you can get ridiculous amounts of power when you hook up a BR turbine to a steam boiler

Btw it would make sense if the (converter) steam turbine produced water as well

Let's memorize the powers of 3 :p

This is an oversight.

Is there also an exploit for normal Metals, I mean these are the ones who people need to properly make alloys?

Btw.: 25z has still the same problem with using the Power Fist as a pickaxe. The engines disappear when I mine them.

I can not really tell if the Boring machine lagg is fixed. I first have to expand my lube production and a possibility to get it everywhere properly ^^

No, but I am not making some flakes work and some not.

That is on MPS's end. The tool is coded to return "false" when asked if it can mine the blocks.
