Now, understand I'm not really the guy for this; that'd be my friend, the electronics technician.Question:
This might not be a simple one but will try anyway:
I need to translate "digital" redstone signals(full strength signals) on different coloured channels into different strength signals on the same channel. So White 15, Orange 15, Magenta 15 gets translated into White 1, White 2, White 3 for example.
I immediately thought of the MFR Programmable Rednet Controller for the job but the different circuits it contains get me a bit confused. But found the "Passthrough(Gated)" that seems to do exactly what I need it to do, it outputs a selected constant value upon receiving a trigger signal. And when I set one of these circuits up it works absolutely perfectly! But when I add another circuit(for the next colour) the first one stops working for some reason it is only the last one added that works.
Is there something I am not getting? Are the controllers limited somehow to only run one of these kind of circuits at the time? Is there a simpler way of translating the signals in a compact way?
Hmm yeah that might actually work. Now, understand I'm not really the guy for this; that'd be my friend, the electronics technician.
What you want to do though is set up your first input and have it output to a variable; call it Var1.
Next, set up each of your outputs separately. Each one, upon receiving Var1, should output your signal.
Like I said, I'm not the best guy for illustrating this and it's been a long time since I've worked with them, but the key is in the variables (as far as I understand it, anyway.)
@ShneekeyTheLost has a great basic guide to this stuff: http://shneekeycraft.blog.com/2013/06/18/rednet-for-newbies/
Any good ways to farm quartz on Unleashed?
Hmm. Gotta get started on bees. You can breed bees that will make nether and certus quartz. Quantum Bees
Is there any way to pipe items directly into the RotaryCraft fractionator?
I used routers... One for each ingredient. Surprisingly when one ingredient was used up the other routers left that spot empty.

If you are pumping it into a ender tsk that is what is resetting the chunk. I'd recommend a tesseractHave a problem in Monster with a Enderthermic pump in the nether constantly getting the chunk reset. So far I have replaced it more than 10 times. Is this a common issue?
Think I'll try a good old BC pump+Chunkloader combo instead now. Getting too expensive to constantly replace.
You mean Ender Tanks? They have some sort of problem with being in the nether? Cause using them everywhere and never had any issues anywhere else.If you are pumping it into a ender tsk that is what is resetting the chunk. I'd recommend a tesseract
I remember something about them causing chunk resets when the world isn't properly saved before shutting down(Like not using the menu to exit out of your instance). You mean Ender Tanks? Hate to bump this but I'm losing hair, and I really think its a mindlessly simple thing that everyone knows but me.Taking a look at Tinkers' Steelworks tonight for the first time, via Agrarian Skies.
The most recent tutorial videos I've seen show an input slot at the top-left corner of the GUI, where you can put your iron-to-be-transformed-to-steel. I don't have this slot.
Is my High Oven missing something?
I also notice that if I feed it blocks of charcoal (to center slot) and hit the controller with a lever, it doesn't start heating it up.
Its a 3-tall high-oven with the center block missing, as instructed.
Feeling dumb and frustrated; any assistance appreciated. :\
If that's to me, yep, the oven is capped with a 3x3 roof. Only one block in the center is currently vacantDoes it have a roof?
Try making it taller then.If that's to me, yep, the oven is capped with a 3x3 roof. Only one block in the center is currently vacant
