I don't think that there is anything that you can use to pick the tank parts up without losing the coloring.
In the FTB-Wiki it says: "Breaking a tank block removes its color."

Another Twighight Forrest question.
What is the dimension number for it if I want to delete and reset it?

Also, if multiple people are involved in a fight (say the Naga boss) do they all get credit for it, and all can move on to the next boss level?

Not sure about the boss fight, but the dimension id should be in the config file. It also might show in the console if you travel to it.

I tried that once, died a horrible death in lava. I should sue for false advertisement and emotional distress.
so did some research...

so basiclly if you want to walk on lava, just swim up to the surface
if you want to sink again press shift
and it grants full immunity.

edit: does this have anything to do with your world? i'm curious to see what you will use it for.

I wish I had some epic lava-based designs to show you but unfortunately I am feeling a bit demotivated from playing atm. My personal life has become extremely annoying of late, with family members visiting and its impossible to find a moment of solitude to contemplate and build. Not a day goes by that I dont *think* about playing but I first need to wait for these people to go away or die or whatever. I also want to purge my game of Botania and replace it with something more interesting/less obnoxious. I grew accustomed to not having to fear lava. ProjectE sounds like just the right thing and I truly appreciate the recommendation, and the encouragement. I will be back in action soon even if I have to murder these people.
