Sorry, I'm not sure how to solve it. If you have followed the video precisely and it still doesn't work, perhaps you are still doing it wrong or the mod is installed/configured incorrectly. Another member might be able to answer.

Use the camouflage module.

The camoflage module with which block? If I dont specifcy a block it stays with the blue default look

They are indeed not optimized for multicore CPUs, but recent i5s and i7s are very good at single-thread performance too. I don't think any current i7 has 8 physical cores. Which model do you have? Of course newer is not always better, but advances in micro-architecture may increase performance.

Doesn't bitcoin mining use the GPU? CPU mining is much slower in comparison.

Newer may not be better by some definitions, but is usually much faster, (my 2 year old 8-core AMD CPU runs at a real 4GHz), has larger capacity, (my 3 year old ASUS Sabertooth 990-FX motherboard supports 32GB DDR3 ram running at 2.2 GHz and has 8 SATA drive interfaces including an optional RAID configuration) and when speaking of ram newer ram is usually much cheaper than older (I can get my 32 GB DDR3 for less than I would have to pay for an 8GB PC-6400 SODIMM set for my 6 year old laptop).

In fact, the only way I will readily agree that older is better, technology wise, is with Audio systems if vacuum tubes are involved. :D

In that way yes, of course modern technology is cheaper and faster than several year old hardware. When I said that newer is not always better, I was referring to recent improvements . For example, the ~3% overall performance increase Haswell has over Ivy Bridge. This is negligible for everyday use. When you consider the increased cost of the CPU and the new socket motherboard, it may not be the best decision for you.

Piffle. Those are Intel issues, not my concern :D

I agree with you on the costs of CPUs and Motherboard chipsets, the primary differences between Intel and AMD. Granted, these days Intel slightly edges out AMD performance-wise, if you're willing to pay that price, but in the days when AMD were official second-source suppliers for 8086/8, 80186 and 80286 CPUs AMD outperformed Intel at a lower price point... That's why Intel stopped second-sourcing with AMD when the 80486 was released. It's been like that since 1977, when a 1MHz Intel 8080a cost $200 and MOSTechnology introduced the 1MHz 6502 for $20.

Question. Have a creeper spawner. Now best way to make a farm? 1.7.2. I have a few mods at my fingertips. I just dunno what would be the way to do it. Creepers are weird and I dunno what exactly makes them explode/not explode/etc to farm them for gunpowder. Yes, I know. I can easily farm gunpowder if I have mods with anything else. But Ive never built a creeper farm before. I just dunno how to start with it. Do I do a fall trap? Do spikes or punji sticks work? Something like ender farms to make them fall to 1 HP and kill manually or if theyre in manual kill range then I run the risk of them exploding?

Spikes should work beautifully. As long as the creepers can't see you, they will not explode. So dark glass from Extra Utilities is your friend.

Seems kind of simple - no offense. Cobble to Pulveriser to Pulveriser to Pulveriser. I could find creative ways to do so (use a Dartcraft pick to automate the Pulverising?).

I thought that was the idea? At least that was what I got from the OP. Find something ridiculously simple and easy to make and put a bunch of extra steps in for silliness and giggles. With gravel it's actually pretty tough to get to more than 3 steps.

Best I could come up at short notice was dirt essence + fire elemental essence -> cobblestone, pulverize cobblestone to get sand with gravel as a byproduct -> do something with all the piles of sand.

If you can come up with more, feel free.

Or don't, I care not :p

How do you get magic farms nature essence? And whats a good way to farm essence?

Both occasionally drop when you harvest any other magic crop.

Nature essence is not collected by MFR harvesters though so it's kinda tough to automate.

As for farming essence, whack loads of long grass to get essence seeds. Or change the configs for magicalcrops so extra seeds will drop when you harvest the crop :)
