Usually it means you cant smelt the item, e.g. Apatite dropping diamond hammers from Artifice cannot be smelted, but if it drops a smeltable ore it can. It is quite odd.

I'm not being sarcastic here, but reading the crash log is a good idea. You have a missingmodexception. I'll bet you have a mod that's erm missing
EDIT: Oh and plugins are not client only. There are in fact very few client side only mods, if in doubt, stick em all on both. The server will complain if it finds a client only mod.

I finally figured it out. I was missing eight more ritual stones. Apparently, there's no "total number" of stones on the diviner, which threw me off. I thought that all that was needed were the stones required for the air, fire, earth, and water stones. I completely missed the "blank stones" part...
Well, that's a derp by me! I'll just have to make a whole slew of new stones for next time, then. Thanks again for your help.

He likely does not know how to read it properly considering he is asking for help. It went on for so long here because other people — including a member of the wiki team — were telling him to post crashlogs and other information here instead of going to support; so you shouldn't blame him.

I'm with the people who say if there is a crash log involved, it should be in another thread, and admittably wasn't thinking when I told him to post logs. You told someone that has come here for help to figure it out himself. That is rude and unhelpful. On top of that, you told him that he is exploiting us by getting help.
