So I had heard KL had fixed Omniwrenches to work with GT again and yet I can't get mine to work. Was this "fixed" by Greg or is there something I'm missing.
Are the versions of Omnitools and GT you're using up to date? OmniTools 3.1.5.0 added GT support. There's a known issue on Greg's end that can make it act funny every now and then, though.

Playing in the v0.8wgt pack which seems to be running Omnitools 3.1.6.0. I can get the tools to work easily on base IC2 machines, just not GT machines.

I think it depends on how many Nether Brick blocks there are nearby - you can make the wrath forge bigger than the minimum size and the flame will be more robust. I can't remember the layout though.

Thanks.
I have 24 nether bricks in a 3*3 around the wrath fire. I have read that the minimum needs to be ~14. In another thread here that I found (via google, not the forum search which I used last time) another design was posted that might work better. It was DoctorOrs design. I hope it works better.

I have used an MFR item collector to great effect. However I think that the grinder normally is able to automatically pick up all mob drops barring an issue with Natura increasing leather and feather drops and stuff like that. You need an inventory adjacent to the collector. I use an ender chest.

kind of want to avoid using the grinder as it seems to be slower at killing wither skeletons then just droping them

If you have a constant stream of mobs going to the grinder so it never enters rest mode that shouldn't be a problem. Of course there's the bonus of it working on endermen as well.

I have a rail system (in a loop) which contains boarding tracks and I want to automatically eject someone from their cart if they are stopped at the track (if the track is not powered by redstone), otherwise they will go past it. the reason for this is that there will be mutiple people on the same line and when they stop they have to hop off the track to let others pass.

I know of the disembarking track but I need to use the boarding track unless you can figure out some other alternative

so the question is, is there a machine or device that when powered by redstone will push someone out of the cart in front of it

If you are wondering, this is for monopoly xD

I'm trying to move some aura nodes using crystal cores and I was wondering how the 24 block range is counted? Do diagonals count as 1 block each? How about going both down and and then horizontally over several blocks? I want to maxamize the distance I can move the nodes but I'm also worried that I could end up wasting a crystal core by making it a couple blocks out of range.

Thanks!

It's the actual distance between the centre of the blocks, same as waypoint distances. Bibliocraft has a tape measure for that kind of measurement.[DOUBLEPOST=1373352231][/DOUBLEPOST]

How can you kill something and then drop it?

I don't get how slow MFR farms can be without fertilizer. I needed some nether wart and there were only 2 around my base. So I quickly built a 3x3 MFR farm and planted the 2 nether wart about 24 hours ago. Within a couple of hours, it had already gotten to the point where 6 of the 9 blocks were filled. So I figured I'd wake up this morning to nether wart. Nope. Woke up and all 9 blocks had partially grown nether wart, but none had actually matured yet. Fine, maybe something will be finished in 10 more hours.

Nope. Get there now and the nether wart is still all partially grown. None has been harvested yet.

WTF? Shouldn't an MFR nether wart farm work faster than this?

google is your friend.....It takes 1 hour for the wart to grow fully in the nether. so probably about that long if not a little longer. if it isnt in a loaded chunk it wont grow at all

I was made to believe that Nether Wart takes, on average, 3.5 minutes to grow a stage, with 3 stages of growth between planting and maturity.
