Flowers spawned by the "flower-spawning flower", seriously I've no recollection of what it's called.
Redstone mana spreader has a timer under it pulsing every 30sec and fires a pulse of mana to the "drum of the wild" uprooting all the flowers. Transfer node underground with World Interaction Upgrades collects the flowers. Piped into the barrels which then output into the assemblers to make petals and floral dyes.
Can't tell you how useful it is having a steady supply of all 16 dyes
Which can then be painted with the Painter(the same one you use to paint cables)(if that is still a thing in the new version).
The default hardened version have a grey scale that is somewhat similar to Stone, but no you cannot camouflage it to look completely like Stone. Best you can do is paint them to a colour that fits your build and resourcepack the best(try with the grey colours probably).
But you can! If you use the Obscurator, you can make it look like anything, as long as anything is a whole block. Shift-right click with it to copy a texture, then normal right-click on hardened CF to paste the texture onto it.

I am trying to P2P tunnel some IC2/GT EU through AE1 (1.6.4 TPPI).
It is all set up and power is getting through. So no problem there. The issue is the bandwidth. For some reason the bandwidth of the P2P tunnel seems to be half of what I try to send through it.
For example If I attach a 512EU/t source on one side and a device capable of accepting it on the other side of the tunnel(I used AESUs in creative to test it), only 256EU/t gets through. If I send 8092EU/t, only 4096EU/t gets through...
So, if only half gets through a tunnel, I will use two tunnels in parallel. It is the only way. Guess what? If I use two tunnels in parallel then each will only transmit 1/4...

So i'm dicking about with Vanilla+ for a bit (fancied a break from power systems and stuff for a while).
One problem i've encountered...NEI doesn't have any recipes for the CompactStorage chests. Is this intended behaviour and is there a way to actually get them without crafting or something?
Or is it "when learning the ropes of modded MC, you'll need to work out modtweaker ASAP"?

The mod has a "Builder" which you use to create the chests.
Do you mean the Green Miniature Heart? If so by default no, but some modpacks add a recipe for it.
