Ehm, I think the unconfigged 1.6.4 GT modifies the acquisition of wooden planks considerably. Could it be messing with the Slabs as well?

I think this save is just borked, I started a new world and quickly cheated in the same items.. it worked. went back to the old world, cheated in exact same items.. nope didnt.

Has there been anyone with issues with the Thermalily? I'm playing Infinity 1.11.2. I have the Thermailies associated with 2 spreaders (4 Thermalilies, with a space at the centre to drop my lava). I drop the lava source block in the middle and it burns them and not get consumed...

I read that they detect lava sources at the same height, in a 3x3 are around them. So I tested it and none are picking the block... Bug or something else?

Also, completely unrelated question to Botania: how do I use an upgrade on a module (Logistics Pipes)?

I'm trying to use a Crafting Byproduct Extraction Upgrade. The tooltip says I can use it on modules (crafting). How?

Yeah, I know. They were off cooldown (no smoke). Also I tried on a creative world with freshly planted lilies. They burn...
You can't have the Lava touch them, keep them separated by a non-burnable block. For example: make a trench and placed the flowers at the corners where one corner touches the inside of the trench.

Alright, I'll go try. Thanks

But it's weird. Yesterday they were consuming the lava instantaneously...

It takes time for them to detect the Lava. I have the same problem but after a while, they do drink. I think it has something to do with other things taking up game ticks.

Alright, putting some slabs on the ground with the lilies on the corners worked.

Now I jts need to figure my LP extraction issue (read above).

Thanks for the help.

You should be able to simply right click the upgrade on the compatible pipe. For the specific one you mentioned, it will add a tab to the side of the pipe's GUI to tell it what to expect as a byproduct. (for instance if you making cake you'd tell it to expect empty buckets).

Yeah, that is how it works on Crafting Pipes. On chassis with modules in them, it doesn not allow to insert. Either via controller or simply right-clicking...

How can I add the Ore berry Bushes to the list of things that the Ender Quarry picks up? When I use that Quarry, it just leaves them there, untouched. Seems to be the problem with the Silk Touch Module as the World Hole Module doesn't have that problem.

Maybe you need to attach it to the crafting module then. I've not used the sideproduct upgrade in combination with the crafting modules though.

How can I transfer all my stuff from one world to another? I tried packing it all into ME drives and saving my inventory with NEI, but that crashed on load saying that it was limited to 32k. So I copied and pasted the Player section of the level.dat NBT file, and I ended up with a load of junk, some of which had the same names as the items I'd renamed like my TiCo tools became Railcraft tiems and my golden bags became Twilight Forest armour.

Both worlds are the same mod pack (Infinity), although the mods have changed a little since I created the first world, so maybe the item IDs have changed?

Any suggestions?

Can someone tell me WHY the forture/Speed Upgrade combo for the Ender Quarry makes the bloody thing slow to a crawl? Without Fortune, it's fast and with it, it mines 1 block every 2 seconds.

The power multiplers are slightly deceptive. They aren't a rf/t multiplier, they a rf/block multiplier. Additionally harder materials also take more base energy. This has no affect at all if you simply using silk touch/fortune and not speed, as the rate of mining won't change. This essentially means speed and fortune together are extremely power hungry.

So my server started playing Forgecraft. First day, I'm in a boat exploring, when suddenly i get sucked into some kind of hole and can't escape. I was spinning around but not falling. Tried to keep jumping out of the hole for a while but 10 seconds later I'm dead. Lovely. So I make another boat and go back there because I had some good stuff and was curious about my gravestone.... sure enough I see it right on the water surface! So I boat over there but before I get to the gravestone, I see it break apart into particles and disappear... and almost immediately I'm in the same hole as before, the same result, no escape. Death. With the message "xxxx fell out of the world". Gee, thanks!

So do you think this is a bug/error or is this exactly how a Thaumcraft Hungry Node would operate? How come the adjacent water blocks aren't going into it then? Even tho I only got a very brief look, the "hole" I fell into seemed to only be affecting one block. It looked like an empty column way down to the bottom of the ocean, but just that one block.

Consensus is that I was lucky enough to boat at random right smack into a TC Hungry Node but I'm still not certain it isn't some weird bug with the modpack. Someone else already fell down a single block hole to their death (on land, not on water), so we're seeing some weird things and I figure I'd post to see if anyone knows. What is with these single-block columns filled with nothing in Forgecraft? Occasionally I will find a single block at ground level filled with water. I always jump into the hole to check, and almost always find that it is a water-filled shaft going deep down into bedrock - kinda like a BC Oil Geyser except its not oil, it's water. Why are these found in the world? Are they errors? Are the Oil Geysers that didn't get oil?
