Granted, but the mods are extremely buggy and work terribly, so much so that it deletes your hard drive when you try to play it

I wish bionic upgrades were available, safe, and affordable. [edit] and legal.

You get bionic upgrades but they're completely useless. The only thing they do is provide a little more magnetism, allowing you to uselessly cling to metal objects.

Also, in terms of technology, we're not too far from bionic implants, or even completely bionic limbs.
