Have you thought of adding the ancient warfare mod or the millenaire (without the worldgen) mod to the pack ? It makes you able to build productive towns, which is nice in itself but lore-wise, as you was able to get teleported to somewhere, the config of the teleporter must still remain right ? So the buisness could totally send you some test su- assistants to help you colonize the place you was teleported to right ?

That's just a random idea thought. I beleive making all of the questlines are the priority for now...

Yep, this is a noted bug thats fixed both config wise (the crash happens with a misconfigured Blind Bag), and modwise (we added error checking to the mod to prevent crashes).

The new update should be up in a day or two, fixes this problem. For now, just hold onto your Ore Shipments =)

Hm, both are nice ideas, but are somewhat heavy, and I feel the pack is fairly big enough as it is. Lore-wise, they can't seem to replicate the teleport exactly, something odd happened to you.

I do have a second pack in mind for the future that one of these would better fit in. I totally forgot about millenaire, I used to love it before 1.6 and 1.7

Yeah I can understand your points.
And it's true that since the good old yogbox millenaire didn't show up in any pack. Seem like all of the conflicts with other mods have been fixed in the last update tho.

Yeah, thats one reason I didn't play it, it was just not friendly with lots of mods. Even when it worked with a lot of them, it was also a slightly wonky mess as I remember, a bit confusing to new folks without delving to a wiki.

Then again, so are a lot of mods without some in-game guide (Much love to Botania and the like!)

I'd love to play this and I tried, but I seem to be having major lag issues, (I normally do on every modpack) But It usually gets fixed with fastcraft, yet since fastcraft is already in this modpack, I don't understand why I'm having so much lag, maybe my computer is just sucky, idk much about stuff like this so I'm basically a noob at fixing all that crap o . o

Hmmm, how much memory do you have allocated in the ftb launcher and what version(s) of java do you have installed ?

Ok something is going horribly wrong for me with the pack.

It works fine and I like it for a bit then for some reason entities and Particles on the F3 debug screen will start to skyrocket continuously. If I let it sit for a while it rose up to 40,000 on each of them and kept climbing resulting in massive lag to 0 FPS.

This is on a pretty beefy computer with 16 Gig of ram and 4 gig allocated in launcher and other mod packs seem to work just fine with those settings.

Restarting the game will fix it for a short bit but it will do it again within 10-15 min. Tried to use Opis to track it down but all entity counts were fairly normal so no clue whats causing it.

Also there are no warnings in the console till it gets real bad then just the normal "could not keep up" messages caused by the lag. One time let it get up to around 60,000 enteties at which point it crashed with a stack overflow error and had to delete playercache.json to allow loading save game again.

Also this is on a new game where the most advanced machine I have is a small TC smeltery and no other mod blocks.

Any ideas on what else to look at for possible info on narrowing down this bug?

I have 3.0 GB allocated for FTb and I'm running 1.8.0_31 64 bit for java Like I said I don't know much.. So idk if any of that has anything to do with it or if something's screwed up

When your playing and it starts to lag could you hit F3 and see if your problem is the same as mine where entities just keeps climbing?

That is extremely weird. if you are playing this single Player , try updating Botania to latest first. If it keeps doing it, disable Headcrumbs and Let me know if it keeps happening.

Those should be fine. Try the same things I mentioned to viskase.

That is extremely weird. if you are playing this single Player , try updating Botania to latest first. If it keeps doing it, disable Headcrumbs and Let me know if it keeps happening.

Ok. Updated Botania to R1.5-163 and still does it. Now going to disable headcrumbs.

Disabled hedcrumbs and still has the issue.

Dang , hmm, wish I could peek at your OPISes to see things myself, this is very strange. I'll look into things on my end.

Ok, im trying to find squid for the tentacles quest (Where you have to turn in 20 of them) and I can't find any squids. Bad luck, or disabled?

Hmm, three things to try
1) update Ender IO and remove Ender Zoo (as its being removed in 0.0.3 anyways)
2) Add Optifine
3) Disable Journeymap

Well is there anyway i can increase their rate?
All the pages on the Researchology page are repeatable quests to get Coins and Reputation, and are not required to unlock other quests.

On that, Squids are not the only thing that drops tentacles : ghasts, taint tentacles, and many other things that have tentacles will drop them.
