I won't cry if they are gone, but there's a crafting recipe for Earmuffs that will negate the shrieking and nausea. It negates all sound, so it's best to just keep them near your Mandrake field (I used an item frame on the fence)

Updating to 0.8.2 I was able to re-unlock all my quests except for the diamond dolly one, the bee hive crafting one, and the cotton seed one. I have completed all the quest prior to updating (accepted for the bugged ones that couldn't be turned in)

Edit: figured out all of them but the diamond dolly now and the cotton seed

I had made several Large Flower Pots, partly for the quest, and partly because the quest said: "you don't want to put your dirt straight on the ground, use the flower pots, it looks better." Because of the contours around my base, I had a small plot that they were just perfect for. My intent was to grow the 4 types elemental seeds there so I filled them with garden soil and tilled away. I tried to put crop sticks in and the pots would not accept them. "Hmm," thinks the slow, stubborn (dumb) Dragon, "what happens if I just plant the seeds?" Put in all 4 10-10-10 air seeds, they sat there for a bit, absorbing magical characters from the the air, and then the seeds popped out of the ground. They now have a meta-data of :3, no longer show as 10-10-10, cannot be placed in the seed analyzer, and cannot be planted on regular crop sticks.

Any thoughts on how to salvage/avoid future repetitions are welcome. Meanwhile, my pots are coming out and going to gather dust in the deepest storeroom (think: resting place of the Ark of the Covenant at the end of the first Indiana Jones movie) and the Agricultural Research boys are breeding another set of 10-10-10 air seeds. The Dragon is pointedly NOT noticing the dark grumblings coming from said Research Station!

ya pots used to work before 0.8 with crops I can confirm that they do not work anymore. which is a shame because I used to put one of each of my flower crops in them with 10/10/10 stats since they're all not used as much.

edit: man regrowth scared me when I updated it said a bunch of stuff was missing and wouldn't load but when I restarted it it worked. so far so good.

wait I'm missing all my reputation D: shoot now I have to start over...

Okay so I upgraded my server to 0.8.2 only to find all my HQM progress had been reset, and of course I forgot to back it up. I have used the HQM Edit book to auto complete almost all the quests had while voiding the rewards. but it's got to the point where i need certain items to unlock the rest of them.

are there certain things i need to do/have for the Chapter 5 quests i.e. blastfurnace, forestry machines stuff like that. and maybe the other diving quests as well.

Hello!

I just updated my server to 0.82 version and when I entered to the server I just noticed that I'm out of my party, that means that all my quests are locked.
How can I return to my old party?
The party still in the Party List but I don't know how to invite myself to the party.


Edit: The same problem of the last message, lol

Seems someone else already found this and reported it to the bibliocraft dev so hopefully there'll be a fix soon.

Maybe I'm blind but I just noticed Millenaire is in this modpack. Are there any current or planned quests for it? Or is it just for extra content once you've established a decent base?

There's currently one quest for it, but its role in the pack is as the end of the pack, somewhat signifying your success at recovering the world somewhat. There is also a custom trade for powerless pearls (can be infused to make TC primordial pearls) as of 0.8.2, and I may yet add more custom trades.

are there certain things i need to do/have for the Chapter 5 quests i.e. blastfurnace, forestry machines stuff like that. and maybe the other diving quests as well.

Any other way to get ancient sand other than finding it, I'm about 7k blocks all round my base and no ocean whats so ever that has ancient sand, only oceans i found are like like lagoons with coral instead of giant oceans?

So, after updating to 0.8.2 and deleting my HQM data, now I can't open the questbook. It tells me to enable questing with /hqm quest. When I try that command, the game tells me I do not have permission to run that command. How can I grant myself permission to run this command?

lol i don't know the quests that reset for me where so simple i just redid them in like 5-10 minutes, no what i'm curious is the golems fixed for thaumcraft? wanna know if i can make my 15x15 coal farm to put into my line of coke ovens.

I don't think that's set to get fixed until agricraft updates, but I could be wrong.
