I stumbled upon a structure in my world that Lags my system out extremely badly. It looks like some kind of a temple made of Netherbrick, brick and the like, with long stairs down inside. I could not explore it very well, since it lagged me so hard. It lagged me so hard I could not even double-tap to fly with my Flugle Tiara until I was far enough away. There were two of the structures together. is this level of lag common with these structures?

I'veb een crashing during the loading screen, maybe step 6/7. It crashed when i went to open my AE crafting terminal (as i had done dozens of times before). Now I just crash out of the loading screen repeatedly. I use fastcraft, and I was in 0.9 when the first crash happened. I downgraded in hopes of that fixing it, but no luck.

delete the /config/blockProperties/AcademyCraft folder. BP is looking at files for blocks that no longer exist in your instance since you went back to 0.8.8 and throwing a hissyfit

I wish I could say it worked. Unfortunately that's not the case. I've attached the newest crash log in case it changed.

First off, I'm loving the pack. That being said I'm stuck on why I cant get this server up and running.

Fresh install, and I know the server can handle the load. Is it the wrong java version?

Running Linux with:
openjdk version "1.8.0_66-internal"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_66-internal-b17)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.66-b17, mixed mode)

Worst case you can just pull out your save then delete and reinstall the pack, then stick your save back in.

Is there any ways to support the work you do making modpacks? That is if you feel like continuing to do so after you feel Regrowth is finished. Because I haven't had this much fun playing Minecraft since 2010 when I first started playing. I could honestly go on at length about it ad nauseum.

You can support me on patreon, the link to which is in my signature. I set that up specifically because people were asking for a way to support me.

As an aside, 0.9.1 has now been submitted, cleaning up the mess that was 0.9.0
Mod Changes:
- Added Java Version Checker version Java8Checker v2.0
- makes the new requirement for java 8 more apparent
- Downgraded AcademyCraft to pre2_1
- Downgraded LambdaLib to 1.0
- Updated Carpenter's Blocks to 3.3.8_dev_r7
Config Changes:
- Minetweaker Scripts
- Manually set the soil of Water Artichoke to water pads, since that being the default got lost somewhere with agricraft 1.4.6
- Added a mutation to get Garden Stuff's Candelilla seeds - will probably change soil to sand once there isn't a bug preventing me from doing so
- Added a missing comma in the agricraft.zs file, the absence of which had screwed up custom soil requirements and mutations.
- Added a second copy of the imag seed recipe in the metallurgic infuser, so analyzed, 10/10/10 osmium seeds can be used as input.
- Could technically make it work with every single combination of stats, but it would require adding a copy of the recipe for every single possible combination.
Quest Changes:
- Changed the reward from quest "Meddling with nodes" to not be quite so ridiculously OP/broken. Now also includes a hint as what Growing nodes are capable of.

Those are the Gravestone mod dungeons. The last time I tried (in my own personal pack) they lagged bad. So now I just ignore them

If indeed the structure is from the Gravestone mod, then the lag could be caused by the number of mobs that spawn in the structure. I had this problem in one of my earlier worlds. I don't think I have ever seen so many mobs. Survival time was seconds and the lag made it unplayable. In the end I changed the gravestone mod config to reduce the mob spawn rates. That helped keep me alive and much reduced the lag.

Infernal brick stairs still get renamed to sandy brick stairs when placed
thus you cannot create an infernal blast furnace

You can. That's just WAILA not recognizing the different names with the metadata. Your problem is that the stairs aren't placed properly - read the thaumonomicon entry again.

My bad, i didn't check the orientation of the stairs - playing in multiplayer with a friend, and he told me ... doh!

It's easy to change blocks with WorldEdit.

1. Type "//wand" - that should give you a wooden axe.
2. Left click with the wooden axe on one corner of the portal you want to remove
3. Right click with the wooden axe on the opposite corner of the portal - the left and right clicks selects an area
4. Type "//set air" to replace the portal blocks with air.

Hope that helps.

took 3 crashes to get this answer in game " you are not permitted to do that. are you in the right mode? "
and I made my singleplayer world without cheats just a regular play thru

To turn on cheats in your game menu click Open to lan then select turn on cheats, Do what u need to do then save and exit (remeber to close the launcher too) when u load back up the cheats will be off again.
