World gen

Hydraulicraft oil - disabled
Magneticraft oil - disabled
Pneumaticraft oil - disabled
Galacticraft oil - enabled

Galacticraft are little oil pockets/pools underground.

Yeah. that was a goof. I'll be fixing that in the next version, my apologies. I didn't fully understand oil dynamics when I built this pack.

If you update Magneticraft to beta2 and enable the oil it has surface pools marking the oil underneath so the silly prospector is not a sole reliant anymore. There are soooo many of these mods which require oil for one reason or another.

Yeah. I didn't have a clear understanding of how oil worked in this pack until I played quite a bit and I've made quite a few mistakes. And Galacticraft didn't help with its shenanigans, either. I literally cannot update it at this point without potentially breaking people's worlds and stripping what oil there is.

Ok, I've made my decision, painful as it is. I am switching over to Magneticraft for oil generation and updating Galacticraft. This will break backward compatibility and might strip the current oil out of your world. Sorry. I've been needing to do this for a while, but I didn't want to break in-progress worlds (including my own, unfortunately).

Before you update if you dump the fluid registry (NEI>Options>Tools>Data Dumps>NEI Integration>Fluids) it will list the oil provider. If Galacticraft is providing your oil this update will strip the oil out of your world. The good news, any new chunks that gen will have Magneticraft oil enabled which should make oil a bit easier to find overall. My apologies.

Ok, 1.10 incoming on Curse:

1.10
Updated:
Immersive Engineering 0.6.2
Immersive Integration 0.6.1
Galacticraft 3.0.12.404 -WARNING! Potential breaking change!
Magneticraft 0.6.0 beta2
Malisis Core 0.13.1
Malisis Doors 0.1.12.0
Matter Overdrive 4.0-164
Super Multi-Drills 1.2.0-19

Added:
Zetta Industries

Switched oil gen to mostly be from Magneticraft. Combined with the update to Galacticraft existing worlds may need to generate new chunks to find oil. Overall, however, this should make oil easier to find and more abundant.

Anything done to make Tungsten easier to locate?

I moved the gen height up to 14. If you mine around 11 or 12 you *should* find it. It can be a bit frustrating. Also, make sure you use the crushing table and a hammer ot double it from the get go if you don't have any other ore doubling set up.

Ok, oil is working more or less as it should in the new update. Finally. You have fairly rare above ground lakes from Magneticraft. You'll see what seems to be 1 or 2 every couple of hundred blocks. They are rare, but a pump jack can produce a hell of a lot of oil of of one set of oil sources. Alternatively, the Galacticraft underground oil bubble deposits still exist. While much smaller they are also much more common. You should find several of these just while mining. the new IE liquid pump is good for these.

For existing worlds, new chunks are required, or trimming old chunks. Alternatively, turning on Galacticraft oil retro-gen will at least get old chunks the bubble style deposits, although they will move from where they were.

Gah, I feel terrible for flubbing that so badly for so long. At least it now works as it should, finally.

Hey there, enjoying the pack and the LP, great job :)

Anyway after latest update Lubricant from Pneumaticraft either turned into Hydraulicraft version or some compatibility was lost. Thermopneumatic processing outputs Hydraulicraft lube which can't be used in PC recipes. Only affects speed upgrades for PC tho.

Odd. I'll look into it.

Edit: A trivial fix now that I'm aware of it. I'll get that sorted in the next update.

I'm fighting the little voice that says: Tale advantage now!

Also, found a bit more tungsten. Is 3x the best ore-multiplication available?

Thank you, having another issue with matter overdrive atm, no recipes for isolinear circuits above mk1, unless I'm missing some new process that doesn't have nei integration yet.

As much as I can get given the insane rarity of Tungsten. Engineer's Toolbox is 3x + potential bonus, but it's easier to do because it doesn't require the insanely rare ore I'm trying to multiply. :D

Interesting notation: Magneticraft has wireless charging. The charger, will charge RF using items in your inventory. Such as energy cells. This is both hilarious, and awesome.

The Hydraulicraft Saw? Possibly the most awesome block I've seen in a while. Of course so are ender hinges. I'm nerding out a bit here. I love this pack.

Yeah, that changed. The inscriber is what you need. 1 mark 1 plus gold will get you a 2, a 2 plus a diamond is a 3, and 4 is a 3 plus an emerald.

Yup, that is the exact reason I made this [ack. "Look at all the awesome, neat new things I get to play with!"
