I think that minechem is too difficult to use because you have to remember the crafting recipe or you have to look up the recipe in nei. its so time consuming. could you please change the crafting recipies so that less recipies dont use that much chemicals. or just completelly get rid of it and replace it with something else (you dont have too do anything if you dont want too, just a suggestion).
Use the book with the microscope. It takes note of every chemical you got/made so next time you need to make something you made before, go in the book, tell it what you want so it "focuses" on that, then place it in the chemical assembler. Instant recipe.

well, latest version. Stand on the observation platform teleport block, look towards the bedrock walled block that's at the same elevation but outside the sphere, and you'll see a destination. Try to go there and it says "enter access code".
You want melons.

I don't actually have this secret in my version of the map, as I started it on version 1.01 iirc - are there any other secrets added between those versions?

This is a bug with Tinkers Construct and Iguana Tweaks but I don't know where else to post this.
Basically my world is crashing on load because I have a bugged TiC crossbow in my hand. I was using my crossbow and it leveled up giving me the Haste bonus, then I immediately crashed. (I already had 3 modifiers worth of Haste on it, this is probably what's causing it to crash because it has a reload time of 0 or something)

This is a bug with Tinkers Construct and Iguana Tweaks but I don't know where else to post this.
Basically my world is crashing on load because I have a bugged TiC crossbow in my hand. I was using my crossbow and it leveled up giving me the Haste bonus, then I immediately crashed. (I already had 3 modifiers worth of Haste on it, this is probably what's causing it to crash because it has a reload time of 0 or something)
Here's the crash log, for debug purposes:
If you dig into your level.dat with a ntb edditer you might be able to pull that bonus off of it. Just remember to copy your save first incase you get rid of the bonus from a different tool.

You should be able to load up your level.dat and fix that with a NTBediter.
Just remember to make a copy of your save in case you break something.

Having problems with the pomegranate/jaded wool, in the book it wants the Jaded wool but the wool you find is called the pomegranate, tried renaming but that doesn't help, still on the 1.0.1 version, is this something that's corrected in the update?

So I'm messing around with ExtraCells and I realized there's no up to date information for it, for AE2.

Since Applied Energistics changed a lot, I'm guessing ExtraCells followed, but there's no information that I can find for it and how to use it.

I want to teach my system how to craft Lumium Dust (it uses a Bucket of Glowstone). I've pumped the Glowstone into my system, but I don't know how to teach it to use the fluid instead of the bucket. Or, barring that, how to craft a bucket of it from the fluid, to be used in the recipe.

I've crafted an ME Fluid Assembler, but am I supposed to use it like a normal Molecular Assembler (with Interfaces) but give it only recipes that would normally require a bucket of fluid? It doesn't seem to work as my system complains I don't have buckets of it available.

I saw an item call ME Fluid Pattern, which apparently can hold all types of fluids. Am I supposed to use that? How do I tell it to "sync" to a specific fluid?

Is there something else I'm missing?

I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed that much. The fluid pattern works like a normal me pattern only uses the dedicated fluid in a bucket. Place that in the pattern in the me fluid assembler hooked up to the AE network just like in AE1.
Edit: Looks like that system is not implemented yet.

I think your spatial is not up to date, you need to manualy copy it over from the newer version, it changed with 1.0.1

You could always use the old way with cyclic assemblers, pumping the glowstone in em

So. The new version of fluxed crystals is supposed to fix all the derps with fluxed crystals. aaand....I'm getting a tick lag of 23fps (down to 37) with fluxed crystals up and running. none of my poor crystals are growing (I even tried whitelisting the end, didn't help)

thankfully I'm not down to .5tps like I was in beta 11, but nothing's growing at all now :/

edit: range upgrade STILL derps all the things, down to 5fps (although I can MOVE properly, nothing changes for 3-5 seconds)

aaand still nothing growing
I even tried supplying power directly to the dirt. no go.

okay, I'm just used to things growing faster than one tick every five minutes. the quartz seeds just started growing

they apparnelty don't get powered by the farm manager anymore, each individual piece of powered soil needs power

No you just have to power the farm manager. These are ore generating plants they are supposed to be slow. And the more valuable the material the longer it will take. Try adding speed upgrades.

Yes! Actual growth on the Fluxed Crystals!

Some of you MAY need to tear the whole thing down and rebuild it.. I had to do that as well.

Powering the soil helped, Light is good, but Automation Upgrade not seeming to function...

Most of the item IDs of the Fluxed Crystals seeds seem to have shifted on me, allowing me to complete the last 3 quests with much easier to craft seeds (dark steel instead of 3x theobromine? Done!). I haven't tried actually growing any fluxed crystals yet. I'll have to re-craft the most useful ones, since my compressed cobble seeds turned into electrical (steel) seeds & whatnot.

Well, I didn't ask for the secret to be said, I asked if it was given by one of the quests (still don't have an answer to be honest)...
I started my current game in 1.0.0, so I don't have that one on my map, but I created a new world & checked it out in creative. It looks like a tie-in to what Parcel seems to be doing for the sequel, so if any quests direct you there I would expect it to be towards the very end. When you look at that travel anchor, you can see it identified by a melon slice, so the clue is there to get to it early.
