For ages now wizards and thaumaturges have been enchanting weapons, tools and armor by imbueing objects with their own life energy. While effective, the process is tedious and the results are completely unpredictable. Your discovery of infusion crafting might have uncovered a solution to both problems.
You have discovered a way to enchant objects with an infusion altar. Simply place the item you wish to enchant on the central pedestal and supply the proper ingredients and essentia.
It also requires some life essense in the form of experience, but much less than would be normally required to enchant something. This experience is drawn from anyone near the infusion altar so care should be taken.
The essentia and experience costs listed in following recipes are for the first level of enchantment. To enchant an item to higher levels, simply perform the infusion process again - it can be repeated till the required enchantment has reached it's maximum possible level. Essentia and experience cost are multiplied by the level of enchantment you are performing, so a level II enchantment costs twice as much as a level I.
Additional costs might is also required if the item already contains enchants other than the one you are currently performing. This cost is usually around 10% per level of enchantment. So enchanting a sword with Fire Aspect that already contains Smite III will cost 30% more.
Instabilit also increases as the total number of enchantments on the object increases.
Enchanting items with an infusion altar follows the normal rules for enchantment as it applies to what enchants can combine with others.

*Brain in a Jar Sealing in the foulness
Research: Cognito - Exanimis - Sensus
Required Research: Infusion Enchantment
Recipe: [ x ]
Nature: EXP Sponge
Description:
- Throw one rotten zombie brain into a jar.
- Add some spider eyes and water.
- Stir gently with your wand while thinking dark thoughts.
If you follow the recipe exactly you should now have a partially animated and fully malicious zombie brain.
It retains some of the hunger it possessed as a zombie and while it cannot consume brains, it still enjoys eating the thoughts and experiences of those slain nearby. Giving its jar a good shake will make it surrender some of its ill-gotten gains for your own use.

Osmotic Enchanter Picking your luck
Research
: Alienis - Auram - Cognito - Praecantatio - Tenebrae
Required Research: Research Mastery - Spellbinding Cloth

Recipe: [ x ]
Nature: Enchanting Plus
Description:
You grew tired of getting terrible enchantments for your efforts. To that, you created a new enchantment table that allows you to pick what enchantments you want to apply to an item. This new contraption requires a wand, each enchantment requires a specific combination of vis from that want. The price of the enchantment is exponentially proportional to the level you want to apply.
Regular enchantment rules apply, for example, you can't combine silk touch with Fortune.
After you selected the enchantments you want on an item, clicking the red button on the interface will start the enchanting progress. As the item is being enchanted, you can't take it out of the table, nor can you change the enchantments you are putting on it.
The table will slowly drain vis from the wand, until it's done. For this to work, there needs to be 6 pillars in the nearby vicinity (4 blocks) these pillars need to be at the same level of the table.
the pillars need to be made of two to twelve obsidian totem blocks stacked on top of each other, with a piece of Nitor on top of them. The enchanter will get flux energy from them, grabbing vis from the wand and combining them to enchant the item.

my wedding isn't actually tomorrow - this is just for comedic effect. i am getting married soon though!
SO to answer a few questions no-one's asked yet.
1. Why are there so many damn POSTS?! omfg
I learned the hard way about your character limits in posts (30,000) and as I was typing out the descriptions of the first post, I thought to myself no way in HELL am I going to fit everything into only 1 post. So now there's 8 of them. There are six catagories in the Thaumonomicon now with the addition of Thaumic Tinkerer, each listed above, there'll be a post for each category so I shouldn't run out of space, but if I do it just means I'm going to have to figure another solution out.
2. The research I'm looking for isn't here! HOW DARE YOU MISS SOMETHING OUT YOU HEATHEN.
Okay guys here's the thing. I'm busy. Busy busy busy. I'm in my second year of studying for my PhD in non-o'your-damn-bidness, planning my own wedding and doing occupational work. So if something's not here, I either haven't seen or heard about it or I just haven't gotten around to researching yet. Eventually, it WILL be here. And hey, if you feel like lending a hand I welcome the ship out of that.
3. Are there any other resources on the tinterwebs that I can find awesome information on TC4/TT?
YES. If you haven't already, this guy always does indepth looks into the Thaumcraft mods and is the backbone of my entire process here. Without this guy there wouldn't be any guides here from me. So look him up because he really doesn't get the attention he deserves. - LINK - If he hasn't got a video about what you're looking for, chances are he just hasn't gotten around to it yet. Bare with him and be patient, don't spam the crap out of him and if you just can't resist the urge to spam him don't you dare tell him I told you to because I'll deny it.
But tell him I sent you anyway, why not?
4. So the modders know you're doing these guides?
Yes and no. While I'm sure that Vazkii (TT's creator) has seen at least one of my Thaumic cheat sheets, I've not taken it upon myself to ask for permission to do these guides as I feel as if it's not required given that if I didn't make this guide someone else would have, somehow, someway, with or without their permission.
This isn't to say I don't respect their decisions, so these guides are and always will be here at their mercy. Should they not want it here, they can ask me to take it down and I'll do so first chance I get.
I'm not sure if Azanor (TC's creator) knows about these guides or not and I don't necessarily care regardless. I'm more than happy to have their support or lack there of, but ultimately these guides exist for the purpose of providing resource for those who enjoy the ship out of these mods like me because when I tried to find resources they weren't around.
I'm taking the time now to thank the modders (both of them) for their hard work and time they put into these mods. They're awesome and you guys should touch their faces in gratitude.
ohbabytouchit -- touchnose
5. Who the HELL are you?!
Most of what you need to know about me- rather, all you really need to know about me, is in my signature. My name's Anna and I play Minecraft and FTB. Forgive me for not going indepth about this but as I said before, it's none-y'damn-bidness.
6. YOU DIDN'T ADD THE ASPECTS OF ENCHANTMENT X OR FIREWORK WITH WHATEVER CONFIGURATION. YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE.
First off. FAKK YOU if you think I'mma do that shit! Do you know how long it took to have that list?! About 6 hours!! If you want the aspects find them out your damn self!

Das it. Enjoy the guide!

M'kay guys, few things to say about this little project.

First I wanna thank the guys who were on my side about the colorblind issue -- Although when I think about it I never really expected anything but support, but I feel it best to say thanks anyway.

Secondly I'm waaaaay behind. I know this. By all accounts the thread should have been complete by now but there's been a few things in the way. I don't feel too good about sharing IRL stuff over the internet for personal reasons but I can share a few things.

My wedding date has been arranged and set for this winter. And I'm not at all nervous, heh heh heh... -Dies.-

Pokemon X/Y came out and I've been super into it.
I'm studying like mad for my doctorate
And finally Minecraft and mods as of late just haven't been motivating me much recently.

That said, expect the final touches and completion of the V4.0.0 cheat sheet done sometime on Thursday.

Third; I'm aware that 4.0.2a is out. A changelog from 4.0.1 - 4.0.2a can be found here.
4.0.2a (current)
- fixed server crash when scanning
- added config option to have the old blue magical biome. This is clientside only.
- fixed the problem where the server seems to forget what nodes you scanned and makes scanning new ones impossible
- re-added the travelers boots ability to run up blocks

4.0.2
- added greatwood and silverwood planks and changed a few recipes to use them
- fixed some research aspects
- added some life to things
- scanning an item crafted with infusion or alchemy should no longer mess with its recipe
- shapeless arcane crafting recipes (like mirror panes) should now be craftable
- mirrors can now be disabled in the config
- cheat sheet now also gives you knowledge of all aspects
- scanning of players fixed
- scanning now defaults to the creative mode "pick block" function to determine what you are looking at
- magical biomes now appear appropriately magical
- silverwood and greatwood spawning changed slightly - silverwoods shouldn't be as prone to destroying their own nodes anymore.
- filling phials from alembics with exactly 8 essentia should no longer return invalid phials
- removed a few research exploits
- seems like a zero disappeared from the haste enchantment and it was adding 10x its normal speed boost.
- in related news: wand of excavation was also a bit too good. Its slower and slightly more expensive to use.
- removed the chance of the same rune being linked to different aspects in research notes. It was a purely cosmetic bug, but could cause confusion.
- possible fix to whatever is causing Rei's Minimap to have a stroke
- odds and ends

4.0.1b
- prevent some config related crashes
- Fixed some scanning related crashes
- fixed crash when trying to jar silverwood or totem nodes
- tweaked rarity of some worldgen structures
- frost focus should work at all ranges now and receives a bigger boost from potency
- fixed item dragging in arcane worktable

4.0.1a
- essentia phials and ethereal essence should now stack properly
- fixed crafting results in arcane worktable when right-clicking
- crucible recipes were ignoring wildcards which made things like alumentum uncraftable

4.0.1
- Fixed some scanning related crashes
- wisp essense has had a change of name
- made research a teeny weeny bit easier (basicaly a small chance of more glowy runes per aspect)
- players start off with more primal research points in new worlds.
- new stuff

Doesn't seem like there's much to add to the cheat sheet however. From what it looks like, the updates are mainly tweaks and bugfixes. What needs to be added however is put in bold.

Fourth; modpacks are coming, meaning mods that use Thaumcraft's API will be present, meaning I'll have to add a few things about metal transformation and different wand caps. Nothing too drastic. However I maintain that if it ain't part of Thaumcraft as a whole, it isn't going to be present here. This goes for the list of aspects in items. If it's not Vanilla or TC or even Thaumic Tinkerer, it ain't gonna be here.

Finally and probably most relevant if you're in the currently empty husk of the TTv2 cheat sheet. Yeah it's empty. TC comes first I'm afraid. No TC no TT, yeah? So patience please! I'm a busy woman!

Anyway, I've been up for the past couple of days studying without sleep, so if you don't mind I'm going to esrgteujtzsddytr5ujjjjesdzrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt

The TC4 and TTv2 sheets are in .doc and .pdf form now. They can be downloaded from the front page of their respective topics.

Hey Succubism i found some aspects for the Dynamism table. the aspects are Potentia + metallum +Machina hope this helps anyone

Taken from the Golemancy Post.

Tool Dynamism I'm level 78...
Research: Machina - Metallum - Motus - Potentia
Required Research: Golem Core: Gather
Recipe: [ x ]
Nature: Left/Right Click Simulator
Description:
You decided to further discover the uses of Golem Animation Cores, and this is the fruit of that labour.
This tablet can accept an item to animate with mystical energy. Using the left and right buttons in the tablet's interface, you can select to do a left or right click with the item. The button in the bottom controls if the tablet reacts always when it can or just when a redstone signal is applied.
Virtually anything can be animated, including blocks. The type of tool in the tablet also defines how fast something breaks as expected.

So I have some pretty exciting news for those who like these guides.
I've been asked if I'd like to put in an application to assist with Resonant Rises' wiki, to which I happily did and so;

4Zyki.png

I've joined their team~! These cheat sheets will be translated over to the Resonant Rise wiki, but that doesn't mean I'm abandoning the cheat sheets. I started them and I'll keep them going just as I am now.

Fingers Crossed!

So I've rambled for a bit about some relevant and "important" stuff.
You can read it in post #2 of the Thaumcraft 4 topic.

Just to save you the time, there's some moderate reading involved, so don't look if you'll just "tl;dr".

Has anyone figured out the Talisman of Remedium yet? So far I have Sano, Venenum, and Ordo, but I'm missing the last piece and as far as I can tell I've exhausted all of the aspects that I know.

Chances are those are the only aspects that it uses.
If you can't make your research, keep scrapping and trying again. Eventually you'll find an easier puzzle. I found one that only needed Sano and Ordo.
