3. Check for Java ( I have 6 & 7 installed...)

I could use some help. After I click launch, the launcher and the console close but nothing ever happens afterwards. The game never launches, then I tried to launch it again but still nothing happened. I set the memory to 2 gb and I do have java 64 installed. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think that you have only java 8 installed. You need Java 7 for this to work.

2nd line down...you're still running Java8. Need to tell your server which Java to use and where to look.

How are you launching the server? That's where you need to specify the correct Java location.

Got it working. unistalled java and then installed it again.

Got a problem with the farm thingy. The sugar canes don't "unload". We've mashed the button but it doesn't do anything, it's like it doesn't have any power but we haven't messed with it since putting the sugar cane thing into it.

Any one else has this problem?

I think that you have only java 8 installed. You need Java 7 for this to work.

If you're using the original setup then you need to insure the Energy Cell has sufficient power and flip the lever so that power gets to the Controller before pushing the button.

Finished most of the Chemistry line and was wondering...is it possible to automate the synthesis machine for more than a single recipe [I don't get how to use the journal with this machine]? Any vids someone can suggest [with automation techniques for this machine - not mod spots]?

Or am I restricted to one machine/recipe for full automation?

How did you pull items out of the synthesis machine? I've been trying/googling for awhile now and can't figure it out...

Dunno how you're doing things 'I assume AE' but I installed/use Steve's Factory Manager for the simple/beginning automation stuff. I'll use AE later for the more complex crafting but I'm not that far into the map to be using AE for anything besides minimal storage. I still don't see AE changing the pattern in the synth machine tho.

Aside: for as advanced as this base is...Steve has access to very few tech mods/automation methods. ComputerCraft/SFM/liquid storage for AE would be welcome additions and in keeping with the lore of the map.
