Ahh, thank you for letting me know. It was actually KirinDave's Resonant Rise videos that got me curious about UndergroundBiomes in the first place. Also got me curious about UE, but then you guys dropped it so I figured it probably wasn't too worth looking into.

How has Dimension Doors been working out for you guys? It seems like a good way for servers to kind of remain connected while being geographically dispersed. Has it also been a source of lag or FPS drain?
When you go exploring a dim door dungeon, everybody on the server experiences severe block lag (some to the point of their connections dropping entirely). I believe just creating a normal pocket dimension won't do that, nor will accessing an already generated pocket dimension. I'll see if I can drag up some more details from the others.

Did they fix the crash/world corruption bug which happened when you tried to chunkload or place a tesseract within a pocket dimension?

Also, I will be pushing 1.2.0 this week. There's a major update to Forestry, so back up your worlds. Forge told me there were some ID conflicts, but I couldn't find any, and when I told it to go ahead and load, I didn't notice any changes. However, that kind of a message makes me nervous, so backup your worlds before upgrading to 1.2.0. Applied Energistics also got an update, as did Power Crystals Core.

I'm continuing to edit the backpack.cfg file to be more cross-mod compatible. Microblocks Saw should be able to go in the Adventurer's Backpack, MFR rubber tree saplings and Cotton should be able to go into the Forester's Backpack.

The big change, however, is switching from CraftGuide to NEI.

I think so, yes. Dave showed us a picture of a tesseract in a pocket dim without any apparent issues happening. And I don't think chunkloaders caused crashes, they just don't work.

EDIT: Tesseracts can be placed inside pocket dims, unsure about chunkloaders.

Hmmm... eeeenterestink. I may consider this for a future update then. I wonder if there is a config option to disable the dungeons spawning for low-resource servers...

ALSO, in other news, ShneekeyCraft 1.2.0 has a massive MFR update! Lots of changes, including some great functionality with respect to Rednet cables and six new machines. I'm still experimenting with the Berry Picker, but I think I can get it to work with Natura berry bushes.

Also, included Certus Quartz and Xertus Quartz Dust to the Miner's Backpack

Submitting update today, hopefully it will be up on Friday as regularly scheduled, or perhaps saturday if the insanely awesome and never properly credited team is even more busy than usual.

Forestry and MFR both undergo huge updates, and while I didn't have any problems, despite having it complain about mismatched ID's, it might be a good idea to backup your world before updating. Just in case. AE also upgraded.

But the big news here? I'm officially abandoning CraftGuide in favor of NEI. The shift+? functionality is just too amazing, particularly when paired with an AE Crafting Terminal. I don't think any of the NEI Plugins are necessary... it's already seeing all the TE, Forestry, and Railcraft machine recipes without any plugins.

Also, MFR Harvesters work properly with Natura's Berry Bushes and TC's Oreberry Bushes, however they only look on the same Y level, so you may need multiple harvesters to handle a 'tall' bush.

I have also included the Microblocks Saw into the Adventurer's Bag, and now all the tools should properly fit there. Microblocks themselves should now once again fit into your builder's backpack. Certus Quartz and Dust should now go into your Miner's Backpack.

I loaded a world. It started fine, then I went in to change video settings, then went back and I'm in a black void. Not the void, just in black nothingness... not sure what the deal is.

Awesome! But please, don't put your skin head as the icon. I will live with it. I won't change it.

Pack should now be updated to 1.2. For everyone who wanted NEI instead of CraftGuide, you are welcome. Also, improved functionality for Rednet Cable. Clicking on the red dot in the middle will change functionality of cable to auto-connect, forced-connect, and cable-only-connect. Be careful, it's really hard to do so when you have the rednet cable connecting to something because it will be changing the color of that facing.

but still i want to see it i like magical mods like:
ekemental tinkerer
thaumcraft
thaumic tinkerer
ars magica
Read the OP again. 'A Steampunk-themed mod pack'.

These are fun mods, they just don't fit in this mod pack. However, if you wish to add them yourself, that's your decision. I know Thaumcraft can be added seamlessly, although I believe there are some Item ID conflicts with Ars Magica.

Can't you change the configs then?

Why should I force everyone using the mod pack to give up their currently existing world in order to make it more compatible with other mods not in the pack? Changing the configs in the mod pack means everyone who currently uses it will have config incompatibilities that will corrupt their current world.

Besides, if you want to add it yourself, it's trivially easy to deal with Item ID conflicts. Just use ID Resolver.

No update this week, although there will be one next week that will be fairly major. Railcraft update (have to wait a week from release to update to make sure there's no bugs), plus update to MFR, Forestry, TC, and Natura.

Unfortunately, compatibility between the MFR Harvesters and the Natura berry bushes broke. According to Power Crystals, this is on Natura's end. Hopefully, this will be resolved in a timely manner. However, apparently golems can now pick berry bushes. So those who add TC3 for a more MagicTech vibe should rejoice next update.

Also plan on tweaking the backpacks.cfg file a bit to accommodate some changes. Should be pretty nifty when it is done.
