Well.... its actually pretty easy to fix the issue:

1- open RFTools.jar with a zip program (ex: 7zip)
2- go to assets/rftools/text
3- extract the file called manual.txt to your PC
4- rename the manual.txt in your PC to manualUS.txt
5- add the file manualUS.txt to the zip in the same location manual.txt is.

Problem solved since the crash is that for some reason, the mod tries to read the localized manual file instead of the generic one!

Another alternative, if you dont want to alter the jar file is recreating the directory structure in your resourcepack folder and put the manualUS.txt file there.
Not sure if this works, never tested it but if the file is accessed like a resource, Minecraft should be able to access to it that way too!

I'm on Age 5, and I'm just wondering... is there a way to automate the creation of basic capacitors?
They are such a pain in the rear to make (for me).
Once you have a good UU production system... its just pressing a button and receiving bacon, as in... a stack of capacitors being bacon!

Thanks for those steps, seems pretty easy so I will have to check that out later this week. (Tricks or treats tonight so no Minecraft today)

Honestly... I think the pack devs could just release a new version of the pack with RFTools manually patched and in the override mods instead of using the one from curse and this huge issue would just not exist.

And while at it, also have JorneyMap updated to the latest beta version so it doesnt freeze and break fullscreen map when we change dimensions!

I have a bug to report: Crafting the IC Pattern Storage in an RFTools Storage Scanner does not trigger age 7, nor does it trigger if you drop it and pick it up again. Crafting it in a crafting table or TiC crafting station works.

Been working on my Early age building :)

New Wing added to my base, with a covered walkway. Nothing in it yet except my bed, having moved from my castle.

2017-10-31_22.46.07.png 2017-11-02_20.21.56.png

Machine room, this time utilising the IC2 workbench and personal safes (which you can access form the workbench, pretty nifty!)

Basement ore processing facility, fully automated processing of all ores into inventory, just drop them into hatch on the floor and collect from chest.

2017-11-02_20.30.34.png 2017-11-02_20.22.32.png

Added an automated rubber farm after cross breeding to get StickReed seeds (Cross breeding crops is just ... SLOW), now, automated rubber production!
2017-11-02_20.33.04.png

One and a half stacks in just a few minutes, from 1/1/1 StickReeds...

Going to look at some form of steam/fluid based power now... need to seriously boost EU/Tick production.

Anyone know if there's a machine other than the IC2 Terraformer to flatten about 100x100x5 blocks? It's taking way, way too long with an Excavator. Used to use a Filler but of course that's not possible here.

Rftools Builder will do it really quickly once you figure out how the coordinates/card stuff works.

edit: also, excavator? you mean the IE one? It doesn't clear an area at all if that's what you're referring to.

Hi guys, I'm going to apologise in advance as I'm fairly new to both this mod pack and this forum. I'm about 5 days into my Age of Engineering world and I had just teleported, so the game was a bit laggy, then it started to rain and I placed a block then the game just crashed. Every time I try to play the world again it crashes immediately. I've reset my PC and used Razer cortex to give my PC some more RAM but I cannot get the world to start. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. I've attached the original crash report. If anyone is able to help me I'd much appreciate it. Thanks!

**EDIT - I started again from the most recent back-up (thank you twitch) and started renovating my base again. Turns out that it was placing a 1x2 basic oak drawer that crashed the game as the exact same thing happened again. Removed the mod and all is sorted. Has anyone else had this problem?? Is there a known fix as I would like to have some storage drawers in the near future...

How I can install it at the FTB launcher ?

As always there is a FAQ on the discord server: https://discord.gg/kGjVZH

Qvist never bothered to get this setup on the legacy launcher but there are many ways to get this downloaded:

1. Where do I download the pack? https://app.twitch.tv/download Then activate the minecraft tab in the settings For more help check here: https://help.twitch.tv/customer/en/portal/articles/2764216-how-to-play-minecraft-with-twitch-app

1a. What if I am on Linux and/or hate the twitch/curse app? This will assume you are using MultiMC to launch the pack https://multimc.org/: Option 1: Change the update branch from stable to development Download the required files Relaunch MultiMC when done Doublecheck that it is now on the development version Download the zip for the version you want from curseforge: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/age-of-engineering/files Create a new instance and choose the import modpack option, point it to the zip you just download (You may need to open the instance settings and press customize on the forge version) When it finishes downloading you are done, launch the pack and play Option 2: Use a curse modpack downloader such as CMPDL: https://github.com/Vazkii/CMPDL/releases Use this link for modpack url: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/age-of-engineering For the Curse File ID use the numbers in the url on the modpack page Example: For version 1.0.3, the file ID is 2446286: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/age-of-engineering/files/2446286 When CMPDL is finished downloading all the mods, create a new 1.10.2 instance in MultiMC Install the version of forge specified, then copy over the folders CMPDL downloaded to the instance You should now be good to go(edited)

Option 3: Download and follow the instructions listed here: https://github.com/dizzyd/mcdex Credit to: https://www.reddit.com/user/dizzydizzyd Disclaimer: As when downloading anything off the internet, exercise some caution.

Sorry it is not available on the FTB Launcher, there are several options listed that will work regardless of the operating system you are playing on.

I am looking for a way to make HUGE EU/T power with my IC2 setup, anyone done this? I don't have enough uranium to make nuclear power an option yet.

Has anyone done much with semifluid generators?

I think the support forum is the best place for this post, as it's not an official FTB pack you may even be best heading over to the mod pack creators discqus page or wiki?

I myself have experienced no stability issues at all with this mod pack, and am running a server 24 x 7.

Not really, but I will say that power is a real drag until reactors. I just tried to get an MFE as soon as possible and fill it all up at once so that I didn't have to deal with it : /

I did the Integrated Dynamics tutorial, clicked the Collect Rewards button, but it didn't give me the rewards. If I check, it says "Collected" and they all have green ticks, but I didn't receive the items. Am I missing something?

https://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Semifluid_Generator

I used one before I got my basic nukes running, I think I used fermented canola oil since it was cheap to mass produce but it only made 8 eu/t. I did not test out what other fluids were available but if the wiki is accurate top level ones will max out at 32 eu/t so I would start setting up some sort of auto miner and let it crank 24x7 on your server so you can just jump up to the next level of power production.

I do know that IE creosote does not work so that tank I saved of it is still just sitting there.
