Just a heads up: In my world, after updating, the Funky Locomotion frame multiparts were replaced by multiparts of an extra Utilities block, effectively preventing my frame machines from moving. So if you have any complicated frame machines where the multipart frames would be a pain to replace...

Loving this pack! Living the good life in the ocean though, because of the taint destroying the water blocks at the edge of the beach. It makes it so mobs can't get to me because of the current :) Just FYI, giving someone an AM Compendium doesn't really help, since you have to create one...

I just wanted to say thanks for putting in all the effort in making this pack! I love it! Having a lot of fun exploring all the different mods, and now that my exams are over, I can finally begin work on a bigger base and tie it al together. :)

You can use the same seed, but I don't think copying the world over would be a great idea. By the way, monster wasn't the greatest of packs and 1.6.4 is pretty much dead at this point. I would wait for 1.7.10 and start over.

I think that's no longer true. When heating up, boilers now simply produce more steam instead of consuming less fuel. I believe it changed in the update to 1.6.4 but haven't got time to find a source at the moment. Fuel consumption stays about the same while the boiler heats up.

Thaumcraft, thaumic tinkerer, botania and enchanting plus, but botania requires you to get the enchanted book first. Using bibliocraft you can copy those.

Ice blocks around the perimeter, then break them? I think the new water mechanics should make the whole room flooded with sourceblocks then. Haven't tested anything myself though.

Openperipherals has a player radar or something like that, so you could code a program to emit a redstone signal turning on the projecor, if player x is within x blocks of the radar. That's how direwolf20 did it in one of his forgecraft series.

Maybe you could use a modular forcefield if it's just a space you need bridged/closed off?

I always put a railcraft steam oven next to the boiler. If you put in the wood logs, it will cook them into 9 charcoal every few seconds using the steam (you don't need pipes if they're next to eachother) and then auto-output them to keep one slot of your boiler fuel full of charcoal. You could...

Maybe you should check your key config for inventory tweaks. I had the same problem a few versions back when my sorting key was set to escape.

You can't get vanilla Nether quartz by mining the ore. It always drops the ore instead. I'm using version 1.0.6.
