Same here, migrated as soon as the pack came out, no porblems and for the new ores i just go to unexplored chuncks for them. I kept the hard mode configurations thou. /manu

Harsh as it may sound, hydra is correct. Sadly this is your fault for using the very offdated pack, but you can still use vanilla style farming to get the ender pearls. /manu

I tried ender eye dust and it didnt work, i do think if the configs are on hard mode you can only use scrap, but ofc only quote me on the ender dust usage. I tried on mindcrack pack 7.1 so maybe it did change. /manu

Ye cuz im sure giving the option to change the configs or to remove addons easily counts as slowpoke and greg wanting to cull the community to do things thier way. If you tell me there is no way to change the configs or even that the game breaks if you remove a mod i would gladly agree with you...

Agreed, duncan is supposed to be the more knowledgeable on the tecnical stuff, i remember the first "tekkit with duncan" when he actually knew what he was talking about. First, always backup your world before doing anything. You shouldnt loose anything as long as you dont run the world without all the mods you have. Upgrade to 8.1 and download and install all the mods you had before the upgrade and then run the world, if you run the world without any of the mobs...
