I just made a gravi chestplate, and I realise that it drains power pretty quickly. And it takes a couple of minutes to charge it back up with an MFSU. Is there anything that can charge it faster? I'm on Mindcrack with Gregtech disabled.

Work your way towards an ultimate solar helmet, that's your best bet, because an MFSU is the highest tier without GT.

Lapotronic Charge Pad with lots of Overclocker Upgrades? I love my lapo-pad.

Charge pads are the way to go, put four of them in a sqaure and stand in the middle of those. it'll charge you at four times the speed of one mfsu[DOUBLEPOST=1362395409][/DOUBLEPOST]And if you want to charge even faster do as in #4 with the four pads

Last I checked, Charge pad is not in the Mindcrack pack.
Can be added easily, but it seems they are on a server, not a ssp.

Ah, probably. Shame that info isn't prominent in the various wikis. So the only solution I can think of then is to have two, and swap them over when you need to recharge it. Why just have one, when you can have two for twice the price? Set something up to remove the recharged unit into a chest when it's done, and maybe stick a hopper on top of the MFSU. So you come home from a hard day's grind, drop your Quantum Suit and Gravichest into the hopper and pick up a recharged suit from the chest. Your friends will be so impressed with the automated set up that they won't notice the missing resources. ;)

Even better - set up an Enderchest and an Enderpouch so that you drop your empty suit into the pouch and pick up the full one, and a Sorting Machine pulls the empty one out and sticks it in the MFSU, and then another one pulls it out into the same Enderchest when it's recharged. This needs 4 Gravichests - one to wear, one on recharge, and one in each of the Sorting Machines (one full, one empty). Or, program a couple of Sortrons to do it instead if you can't justify the expense for four Gravichests.

I almost choked on my lunch when i read the part of making 4 gravy chests. I guess having no gregtech or on hard mode does make the game ridicoulsy easy for some ppl.

Yeah, I wasn't being serious! I don't have a Grav chest yet, and I'm on DW20 which is ez-mode. I'm still working on my Sortron-driven processing system rather than on pursuing the IC2 tech tree to the end.

I just got to the stage that i can make 1 and 1/2 of the needed iriridium plates per day for making ultimate solar panels, i have 20 solars atm. When i feel confortable with the UU matter production ill make the gravysuit, i have an aesu waiting for the chest already.

you just created a good reason for why you should have enabled Gregtech. and AESU properly powered would solve that problem
