I don't know anything about the steam oven but I'm imagining it has a nine-spot inventory, and cooks all nine at once. What happens when you dump in 9 items, say by shift-clicking? Does it distribute them all evenly or put them them into a single slot? If it distributes them, a RP2 filter should...

Feel like I gotta ask ... you don't have something stuck in the "extra" output slot on the pulverizer, do you? Maybe something without a texture so it's invisible?

The fastest way would be item tesseracts. The cheapest way is to drop them. The coolest way is magtubes. :)

Back in 1.2.5 days I found that the yellow box the quarry created (the guidelines for the frame) could cause massive FPS lag sometimes. I had to remove the quarry AND restart the server. Maybe that bug is still around?

IIRC I had the same problem trying to presort them, and just ended up using six barrels. You can unify them by shift-clicking the ones you don't want onto the ones you do want. In other words, put a few of the "221" crystals in one inventory, and some "221:2" crystals in a different inventory...

The filter was set to a 2-second cycle IIRC. That seemed to be about the sweet spot, but if you have a big enough buffer, you could probably slow that down. Offloading all the cobble, dirt and gravel before then is really key though - it would bog down for sure if it had to deal with all that...

A diamond pipe can handle the bulk stuff - dirt, cobble and gravel - as fast as you can feed it. Then you just have to deal with the rest. I used ender chest > filter > 6 sorting machines (side-by-side), each responsible for 40 item types, feeding into routers and barrels. A couple diamond...

I'd just throw a chest or buffer in at the receiving end. Tesseract > chest > sorting machine.

There's too much of it to ever be used. I'd suggest collecting the amount you want and filtering the rest into a void pipe.
