See, I think that was way more thorough than a lot of people here were assuming. Just because they do their LPs blind doesn't mean that they're blind, guys. Yeesh :p Uhh...did you even watch the video? He demonstrates how redpower was contributing to the lag about 16 minutes in.

They are totally awesome to play with until you start to realize that they never run out of power and never break, and then it begins to feel like cheating :P

The portal gun mods. No question. You can find them in dungeon chests, and they're cheesy: lets you move any block AND acts like silk touch when you place a block in a door or over a torch. Imagine being able to find a jackhammer in dungeon chests, along with an infinite power source for it...

That doesn't sound like intended behavior. When I try planting canopy tree saplings in the overworld in the Mindcrack pack, I get 100% canopy trees. So I'm pretty sure you're experiencing an ID conflict.

I would like say that, to be on the safe side, back up your beta worlds, and also make a test world *now* so that you can go inside there to make sure things are working okay after the update happens. That way, if catastrophic things do happen, they don't happen to a world you care about.

That's true even if you use ToK on its own. It's the way this, Millenaire, and a few other structure-generating mods treat air blocks as objects to be placed, instead of empty spaces to be ignored. Which means anything you've placed that's occupying a space being read as air in the mod's...

I know you misspoke when you said to stand "in front" of the first portal (instead of looking away), but it just occurred to me that you could easily make a horrible infinite-falling trap this way thanks to the fact that portals preserve momentum, and that you can make them facing up/down..
