Ferrous Ore?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm trying to get everything switched over to the texturepack I'm using. Except I can't figure out what Ferrous Ore is from. The problem is that it's showing up as full alpha instead of just showing the vanilla version, meaning it's missing from a texture sheet I've already loaded in. So I can't just run through the list and see which mods I haven't added textures for. Anyone know which mod generates it?

This is in the Mindcrack modpack, by the way

unlike Redpower though (because eloraam seems to be rather busy IRL), King Lemming adds new stuff to his mod pretty quickly, Liquiducts and Portable tank arrived unexpectedly and work awesome. Im making sure to pulverize my ferrous ores so I can get as much of that shiny dust as possible for the next release.
Also, If you have a Ingeous extruder> pulverizer> induction smelter setup for ores, it might be a good idea to toss an extra pulverizer in your machine room for things like obsidian or blaze rods or ferrous dust, so you dont need to reconfigure your main ore processing setup.

GregTech has uses for both Tungsten and Ferrous. I also found both ores in the Mindcrack pack.

Ferrous is used for a few coils (one of which is used for the Electrolyzer I think) and Tungsten can be used for Energy flow circuits, Superconducters, Wolframium Grinders and Mixed Metal ingots.

I'm pretty sure neither belongs to GregTech though, even if it's the only mod using those ores atm.

Well I have found Tungsten in my DW20 world, so I don't know what you are on about. That doesn't even have Gregtech.

I'm not saying the ores are from GregTech... (they're not, afaik, but that doesn't mean GregTech can't/won't use them...) I'm just saying they aren't useless if you have GregTech and that Tungsten is still in the game (because I saw a post claiming it got removed from RP2... It's still being generated in the world though...).

Especially because the OP plays with the Mindcrack pack I thought it would be worth mentioning, as GregTech is a pretty big part of that pack.

I'm sure the ores will get more uses in the future though, within the mods they come from and perhaps even in other mods.

I have the same problem with the texture.

Ferrous ore turns to nickel, only thing i have used it for was a coil for the gregtech blast furnace.
Ferrous ore in a pulverizer has a chance (5%) to turn into a pile or shiny dust, which can be electrolyzed (or centrifuged? i forget) into iridium.

Shiny ingots are used in those Greg Tech rounded green/blue thinghy.
*Opens FTB and checks...
Energy flow and data control circuits.
