A router can only hold one type of item at a time, so multiple routers are needed if you want to use a tesseract. I would suggest you use an enderchest instead for your long distance teleportation of items and place it right next to the router.

I would go with the tree farm option. True, you will need a large number of generators and a tree farm that can keep up, but it is definitely the best long term solution if you don't want to quarry the world looking for uranium.

MFR Biofuel doesn't work in the IC2 Biogenerators, but you can run it through the Unifier and get the ethanol.

Something to note: If you like using IC2 power and want to fuel it through MFR biofuel, get the Unifier to turn it into ethanol that works in the Biogenerator for IC2.
