    Thoughts on MFR

I am currently supplying my 9*9 tree farm with a Force Engine filled with water and MFR biofuel. It is almost OP how quick I can harvest a full field. The force engine uses so little fuel compared to the output. It is much better than the Hobbiest engines I started with.

    Any cool roofing ideas?

A tower with a sphere of telsa coils. Not practical in the slightest.

    Take a jungle down

Axe of the Stream works wonders if you have the research done. Put repair on it and you are set.

    The most underused starting strategies?

My current starting strategy on my new world is completely IC2 based. I got a generator/macerator going until I got my BatBox running. I turned my generator into 2 water mills and set up some tin cabling. I manually feed buckets of water into each to generate more power, and passively get some...

    Pulverizers really.. slow?

Pipe the ore into hoppers to act as buffers. May need to make 2 or more, depending on flow.

    Pulverizers really.. slow?

Pulverizers are not fast, they just give chance of extra dusts. I.e. Copper ore has a chance of producing gold dust.

    Use of Steam?

Nothing else. It is a power source. It has no other purpose. The usefulness of a steam boiler is that you get more output than if you had just used engines or generators.

Using Steve cart tree farm for boiler

You can make renewable fertilizer. Pulverize Sandstone to make Niter (20% chance), then pulverize that to make 2 Saltpeter. You can use Igneous Extruder to make Cobble to pulverize into Sand, then craft into the Sandstone. You only need 3 Pulverizers, the Igneous Extruder, and an Auto-Crafting...

    Alternative to the Steam Turbine?

To power a 8LP boiler, you need to have 13 coke ovens all running to balance out. I'd recommend making a Steve's Cart logging farm to supply the ovens with logs and pump all charcoal into another type of boiler.

How do you organize your bases?

Modular rooms (9x9 inside) with a basement power room. This time I opted to build into a mountain. Power runs under the floors. Easy to set up. Storage room is set up like direwolf's. If you couldn't tell, I like his set up.
