If servers cost a lot of money, then why do most popular mod packs have servers? A good example of a popular mod pack that has a server with tons of slots is Infamy: Modern Warfare.

I don't believe so, but it shouldn't be to hard to make that type of list. Edit: These fine people above me have already created a list that sounds pretty accurate, I suggest that you go off those.

I would look up "how to run a MCPC server" which is basically how to run a modded Minecraft server, I hoped this helped and good luck with your server. ^.^

Normally the usual port for a Minecraft server is 25565, try porting the Ventrilo server there.

That depends on how long it'll take for the FTB team to release the new launcher, but for now use 1.5.

My funniest Minecraft moment would have to be when I fell down a hole in a pyramid and hit a pressure plate, under it was loads of TNT.

Kind of, the log would be like the server text file except it's in your FTB folder and named Forgemodloader-client log. This is fine though your mods are just talking to each other.

Can you give me the log? The current Minecraft version should have nothing to do with FTB, we don't go by Mojang's time :P.
