I'm not using Catalyst automatically. I do that manually, though I have a small mob farm that passively gets me a few mob drops (bones for catalyst). I am however powering 3 fermenters, though. Probably hard to see behind the spaghetti of pipes :D

None currently exists. You can use a magma crucible to convert MJ into EU (lava in geothermals) to do a two step conversion.

Bluelectric engines produce MJ from BT. Though it costs a lot of BT.

Alright. well for now, I've created a 7x6x7 iron tank to store the excess steam until I figure out what I want to use it on (more quarries or forestry farms perhaps? :D)

Golden conductives have the ability to use gates, so if you need to use logic to control stuff, sometimes using conductive pipes is much better--much more compact, even with redPower (you could always use structure pipes with gates but that takes away a possible I/O side and more space)

If I have only 2 industrial steam engines hooked up to a boiler that can handle much more, will the fuel be wasted or used less?

Really? I had an energy cell hooked up to my quarry power system (uses 4 magmatic to power quarry). When setting the cell's output over 35 MJ/t (effective 51 MJ/t but with 5% loss is 48.5 MJ/t), one of my magmatic engines started overheating.

I surrounded a nuke in the shields inside my nuke room (that has shields for walls and reinforced stone behind it) and without covering the nuke, my base gets destroyed. When I cover the nuke, my base stays fine except for 95% of my nuke room LOL I am able to make unlimited MFSU thanks to RP...

Just saying it won't be infinite because I've been playing my SSP world for a couple weeks now (or whenever the mindcrack pack came out) and I've emptied 4 lava lakes already. Yeah.. gonna think about moving to a steam boiler setup... if I can figure out forestry (never tried it) :D

Quarries accept a max of 50 MJ/t so make sure you're not producing more than that.

It fixed the Extrabees conflict. I deleted my configs and mods folder and still get the error. I have world backups so it's not a big deal. I'll just wait until the pack updates.
