So having a problem updating i chose 1.1.20 as it was the latest version available. Then it went through the process of asking me if i want to backup my saves and configs...It downloaded all the files but when it got to the start screen it said 1.1.17 and nothing had changed. Please Help.

You can eat when your saturation is full just not when you hunger is full( a.k.a when the yellow meat chops are full but the brown meat chops are a little bit low you can still eat.)

Yeah I'm talking about when it was normal and the reason I wanted silk touch on it is so that you don't have to mine 2 hardened ore to just get one normal ore

Yeah I tried that was wanting to put silk touch on my pick and get double double ores. How do you get heatstroke even with my water at 12% I struggle with hypothermia. The new way of getting water looks interesting will have to wait till tomorrow to try it out.

Man I love that I got stripe pipes earlish. Going to full out raid the first dungeon and build my mob tower once I've got my new water situation figured out. :D awesome modpack. Will try to play as far as possible. e:p

I think that's a great idea I'm busy getting my farms up and running and knowing different ways to make different foods would be great.

Yeah so it should be fine for me I think I started this world in 1.1.9 not sure though because I've had a few world deletes

So I'm getting lag it seems to be coming from my Internet connection is there anyway to launch the pack then disable the Internet. Not completely sure it's Internet though because I tried and still only got like 17fps

Flying is true but buildcraft is even earlier and easier most expensive part is some iron and gold.

Tool Forge You first need a hammer head stencil, then a hammer head cast, and finally 8 ingots of iron. Put the cast on the casting table then drain the iron into it

This looks amazing will definitely save it for later. Another unrelated thing how do you get the FPS, entities and time of day thing in the top left corner?
