There are two 1.5.2 packs as well, although they're a bit buggy they've got loads of mods and you don't notice the lack of Redpower or Xycraft all that much, IMO it's worth it

I went outside once. The graphics were pretty good, but the gameplay and plot were just awful.

Don't those two actually save the player materials? As far as I remember, at least the plate bending machine gives you more stuffz for the initial ingot cost

Ten minutes later, I still have no diamonds. Also, the challenge forces you to build a wall around your home and light everything up inside it, so I don't actually see any mobs unless I'm out looking for clay or something. And thanks to Tinker's Construct (<3 longsword) I'm pretty much fine.

I agree wholeheartedly. Anyway, that explains how you use the heart containers. I thought you had to eat them or something to get the extra hearts. I assume they don't get destroyed if you die?
