    Feed the Beast City ideas

How about some more practical ideas? - jail (force fields a bonus; you could theoretically lock someone in and take away their stuff with a flip of a lever) - train station - driveable "roads" with Steve's Carts 2 and a cart garage - library (with Bibliocraft you can even copy books to fill out...

Ok, thanks. Not quite what I'm looking for but I may have to compromise.

    TC3 Dull Shards

Usually if I need dull shards and I don't feel like making/breaking cores, I'll set up some form of rapid transport to another area and start, for example, growing large numbers of Silverwood and then teleporting to the distant node while my Repair II Hoe of Growth repairs. In general if you...

So if I attach a diamond pipe to one side of the router, it'll send everything that way by default? Sorry if I'm being obtuse, I'm trying specifically to use an item router in a wall (for aesthetic purposes) that keeps ejecting items it doesn't recognize on the side opposite of my pipe/tesseract.

    First ME Encoded Patterns

I don't have them all programmed but I certainly have my system set up to use a minium for certain things and it doesn't have any issues with it. Just another shapeless recipe as far as the back end is concerned.

    First ME Encoded Patterns

It's one of those six/half dozen things; when you're first getting started, UU-Matter might be considered far more expensive than the iron for an HV array; after all, EU-wise an Ultimate Hybrid requires 416 real-time hours to pay itself off. Once you have your UU generation well-entrenched...

I know that with liquid routers, you can use an empty bucket to indicate "all things not listed go here" - is there something similar for an item router?

    First ME Encoded Patterns

I usually only push the solars as far as MVs, to get my network stabilized and get a Mass Fab running before I slide over into hybrid solars. The stuff from Advanced Solars/Gravisuite takes "perfect candidate for the MAC" to a new level and I love my one-click Ultimate Hybrid Solar Panel to death.

    Unleashed

You need an ink mixer to make a linking page as the first page in your book.

    First ME Encoded Patterns

I usually start with solars, being that even the basic ones require a ton of steps and they're a giant pain in the butt.

Limiting amount of a certain resource in an AE network

I'm thinking of suggesting precisely what Twisto said would be a nice feature.

Limiting amount of a certain resource in an AE network

If it's not already on his to-do or the rejected requests file, I'll push it on to AlgorithmX2 at some point, he's one of the best on implementing fixes and suggestions.

Limiting amount of a certain resource in an AE network

Considering the speed I want to process things at it's more like 8, but you're quite right; somewhere in there I forgot that it wasn't the level emitter causing the problem. Fortunately I have space and power to spare, although the network chamber is starting to look a bit cluttered ;)

Limiting amount of a certain resource in an AE network

In my case it's not about power management, it's about storage management; I want to process certain overstocked resources into scrap but I don't want to accidentally process all of it. This thread's given me some better ideas on how to accomplish that, though, even if they might get a bit...

Limiting amount of a certain resource in an AE network

I'm running it through a bank of recyclers rather than voiding it, and I do certainly have it in a DSU; cobble just outweighs pretty much anything else I'm terms of being easy to obtain and recycle right now. That being said, the principles should be roughly the same; it's more a matter of...

Limiting amount of a certain resource in an AE network

On this subject, anyone know how to make dark cable/level emitters not kill your queued crafting? I have a setup to keep cobblestone below a certain level but I have to remove the emitter before crafting anything which kind of makes the whole thing pointless.

    Tinkers Construct smeltery questions.

I smelt two stacks at a time on a regular basis (well, technically two stacks minus two) with no issues. They all smelt at once.

looking for a lot of free power

I use my "infinite power" to power the things I actually want to; for me, playing a tech pack is all about automation and the way that I see it, the whole point of automation is not having to do the work yourself once it's up and running. I'm quite proud of having extensible solutions to...

    Tinkers Construct smeltery questions.

Yeah, can't really disagree with you there, Twisto. On my latest server a smeltery was my first ore-processing up and running and I used it long and well. However, once I had an ME network it became a relic of the past beyond creation of aluminium and manyuellyn. I make all other metal...
