How do you switch on TE energy packs? (Why the hell do you even have to switch them on?)

If it wasn't meant to be modded, the game would have something in place to stop people messing with it. Not only that; why would the guys at mojang even contemplate a modding API?

I don't know what you're on about. I always have it on and its never done anything negative for me, certainly not crashes. Besides, its more than a little lag. For me, with multicore chunkloading, even whole new dimensions load almost instantly.

Still, its a lot better than nothing. It especially helps when you go into another dimension for the first time and things are lagging because it has to load/create all of the new chunks. For MC to have true multicore support, you'd have to basically rewrite the entire game from scratch.

That's one advantage of magic a magic-based mod rather than a tech based one ;) For a minute I actually thought this was legit :confused:

Actually, if you download optifine it gives you the option to use 2 cores, though I think that only applies to chunk loading.

Try downloading game booster (you can get it here). I don't know how big of a difference it'll make for minecraft, but it can't hurt. My PC specs aren't quite as good as yours, but I still manage a constant 60fps (probably more it if was unlocked) with 165 mods, and on 1.7.10 (which needs more...

Well, technically it isn't ethereal glass, but it does basically the same thing... The gaps are wide enough for you to walk through. This means its also wide enough for mobs, but, as if by magic, they'll be repelled. The way this works is that, even though mobs can fit through the gaps...

Hmm, this looks interesting. Thing is, the level emitter seems to just go off the total number of items, whereas I need it to detect when there's a shortage on a number of different items (seeds in this case). Dark cables could definitely help though. I should add that I don't need a perfect...
