    MFR Bioreactor Question

If you have rotarycraft, use it's fertilizer instead. It can cover a huge area depending on how much power you give it. It uses bonemeal or fertilizer. It makes things grow as fast as the extra utilities watering can. It will cover any automated farms too. It make Forestry multi farms...

    MFR Bioreactor Question

It isn't because of the trees. It is because of the fuel nerf. You need alot more charcoal to keep the boiler going. You need twice as much infrastructure of half as many boilers.

Puzzled by MFR drill + big reactors

When I used EU for a mining laser, it took 512 eu/t per precharger and it just kept the buffer full. I'm not sure what the conversion ratio is, but you may be maxing out your connection with the energy conduit. They are 10k RF/t per connection. It is only 10k per connection. The conduit itself...

Fastest automatic mining system, Sonic borer

The best part about this and the normal rotarycraft boring machine, they drop mob spawners instead of breaking them. Take down a rogue like dungeon with them and use the Rotarycraft spawner controllers for the fastest mob farms you have ever seen. The normal boring machine can also be enchanted...

    RotaryCraft Canola Farm Setup

As someone who always preferred Tech mods, the addition of RotaryCraft to Monster has been a great new toy. After searching around, there isn't much info out there on it. I wanted to use hydrokinetic generators and found out they needed lubricant. I initially had a manual farm to get started...

Automated Kiln for Quicklime in Monster(NO ticking timers)

Thanks. One thing I have learned in MC, especially playing huge packs like Monster. Do anything you can to reduce timers or pulsing redstone. Your world will last longer. I like to able to turn everything off and on to keep the world running smoothly.

    Fun With Ender IO

AE and Ender IO work fine together. The item conduits will dump into an ME interface. The power conduits connect. I haven't had any problems connecting them to anything. If they don't connect on their own, you can do it manually. I am actually running my entire base off of them. I have no TE...

    Chunks Reseting

Since tesseracts auto eject into inventories, and ME interface works and is cheaper than the precisions bus. A normal import bus can't keep up with a fully powered quarry. I have never seen anything official and I never had an issue using them for over a year. Then one day, it happened and I...

    Greg, you've done it...AGAIN !!!

Forget the whole packet system. It no longer applies. If you understand the difference between parallel and series circuits, the new and old system are much like them respectively. Old IC2 power worked in parallel. 10 generators put out still only put out 10 EU on the line, even though you get...

    Tesseract pipes

A tesseract can feed a geothermal just by touching it. You can also use Fluid ducts from thermal expansion. If you want to use BC pipes, put a BC tank next to the tesseract and it should auto fill it. Then you can use a wooden pipe to pull it from the tank. Not sure what mod pack you are using...

    Chunks Reseting

There has been a rare bug with ender chests resetting chunks. I have seen posts about it for a year now probably. It always seems to be related to using them with quarries or other high volume automated systems. I used them all the time until I had a chunk reset. Took out my mob farm which was a...

Is there way to repair mossed tinkers tool, without having it on the hotbar? (Direwolf20 pack)

I misunderstood your issue. Sorry Wonder if keeping it in an inventory like an ender pouch or backpack might also prevent it since it isn't in the player inventory perse.

Is there way to repair mossed tinkers tool, without having it on the hotbar? (Direwolf20 pack)

You can build an energetic infuser from Thermal Expansion to recharge the flux. Not sure what other mods have a block for charging tools in DW20 pack. I thought the tool racks worked in the past. Not sure now.

    ME - What Storage Amount? (1k - 64k)

I only have 3 64k drives. I use one for all the geostrata stones because that many extra barrels was annoying. I have one for stone/dirt/sand/gravel from my quarry. The 3rd one holds netherack, nether brick, and tainted soil from a nether quarry, as well as 2 wood types from auto farms...

    RotaryCraft lubricant question

Might be able to pipe it out with fluid ducts since you can pipe it in with them. I haven't tried though. I have almost 4k buckets in a tank so I never worried about losing some.

Filling the fueled Jetpack in IC2.0354

I tried every machine I could think of in creative mode and could not fill the jet pack. Starting to think it doesn't work in this version of IC2 exp.

    Not charging shaft Core RotaryCraft

Apparently the magnetizer takes AC current as well. I am quoting Reika on this from another thread. I haven't seen it anywhere else.

    The autonomous activator

MFR harvesters can harvest ore and essence berries. They need power, but with range upgrades, you only need one to cover a large area. They only harvest one the level they are on. I noticed in the newest Monster, the Mariculture crucible can smelt essence berries into liquid XP. There is no...

Which mods do you add manually?

I play Monster. I remove Thuamcraft and all it's related mods(I don't play it and the return of taint made it annoying to keep),Blood magic, and Computer craft/open peripherals(I can't code) just to keep NEI a little easier to navigate. I more into tech mods, so I never use the magic mods. I...

    Bees and Foundation Blocks

Bees are funny like that. I have gotten really low chance mutations on the 1st try or 2, while common ones have taken 15+ life cycles. It is completely random. As long as you have all the right conditions, just keep trying. If you are only going for one type, you can make a small automated setup...
