    Nether wart farm

Strictly speaking, you could camp out at a dark node and farm wisps, but that's painfully slow unless you start pumping flux into the dark node... which may not have been such a good idea, for me. It's also a nice way to get spirit aspects. Long term, though, setting up a netherwart farm is...

    Bees question

I believe you can deduce the rules if you look at the Apiarist's Database - it lists the 'natural' speeds and production rates for different species. (The species which gives 'fast' is cultivated, btw) I'm not sure, though, whether the listed rate is for an Apiary without frames... and I've...

Swimming in BC energy - what to do with it?

Oh, you have a 36HP boiler? A more direct (although possibly more expensive) route would be to attach a steam turbine to the boiler - those guys have the same efficiency as the magma crucible > GT thermal generator, but outputs 100 EU/t for 320 steam/t (or about 64 EU/t). This cuts out the magma...

    Quick comment on Thermal Expansion

In general, TE machines do not need power to output, but you need to use a redstone engine (for instance) to input items through the pipes. While this allows you to interconnect the machines easily - for instance, linking an igneous extruder to a magma crucible, or a pulverizer to an induction...

    blaze rods

Er, forgive me, but I don't think gold is what comes out of the centrifuge, but electrum, right? Which is not to say there aren't other ways to get gold, ranging from the mundane (zombie pig farms, natch) to the downright ridiculous (okay, so I can make glistering melons with honeydew, then...

    MJ to EU

Whereby "more expensive" we mean literal stacks of steel! Running a turbine isn't cheap, to be sure.

Forestry is making my brain hurt

Wait, would this work? Set up two chests (or buffers or whatever) immediately after the fork: A |-IN B Then connect A and B to whatever. The intermediate destinations are equidistant but the final destinations don't necessarily have to be, right? Actually, I think a transposer counts as a...

    Computercraft: Terminating a program

I think the wiki alludes to this vaguely - it says while talking about the computers that you have to hold it down for several seconds - but it could be a little more clear about it, I think

[HELP] Industrial blast furnace + MFE Issue!

Oh, and for future reference: It's not a bad idea to switch your MFE's redstone mode to "do not emit" and stick a lever on there - that way, you can let the MFE charge without disconnecting the Furnace. Handy if your power generation is slow but continuous like mine is.

    How to get IC2 Copper?

More amusingly, this copper happens to be produced through lava centrifugation - although if you're trying to make a magnetizer, you almost certainly won't have an industrial centrifuge yet. Hmm.

Forestry is making my brain hurt

Actually, reading the description more carefully, the emerald pipe won't work: it won't let you select a destination that way. Rats.

    Mob Deterrants

If you're willing to mess about with Factorization, you could also try Wrath Lamping the village. Of course this wreaks havoc with any Forestry-type farm - what happens is that the lamp will produce 'light blocks' that the harvesters see, but can't break. Still, it's certainly one of the fastest...

waterproof wooden pipes pulling out from tanks and other pipe mechanichs?

Actually, I'd also like to contribute an advantage: empty liquiducts and full liquiducts won't automatically connect. This drastically simplifies pipe networks when you're juggling several different liquids - this is a huge issue in Forestry, for instance.

    What is this infernal contraption!?

Of course, without a link modifier, you'll have to do the bombing from a different dimension... which in many ways is even more ridiculous. It does remove some of the drama, though.

waterproof wooden pipes pulling out from tanks and other pipe mechanichs?

I think the problem there would be that waterproof pipes in particular have an inherent flow limit, while liquiducts don't, exactly. I also know that you could hook up RP2 fluid pipes and pumps, but that's a lot more expensive, and I'm not sure how the flow rate would compare.

    Bluetricity to EU?

A slightly more direct approach would be to wire up a blulectric engine to a magma crucible, then feed the lava into a (geo)thermal generator. It wouldn't require you to get biomass involved, just an igneous extruder making free cobble - it's a more direct conversion. As a bonus, you can...

    Optifine for FTB?

That said, even when you get the right version, you'll sometimes get some rather unfortunate glitches - bottom halves of treasure chests not loading, bee chests going invisible, that sort of thing. It's rather temperamental, for some reason.

Mystcraft and EE3 coming to mindcrack?

I believe, from what I've heard, that mystcraft will be added in, pending the serious stability issues. Not sure if the author is going to add in the research system right away, but I would like to wait for that personally. EE3, on the other hand, I've heard very little about.

Forestry is making my brain hurt

For the purists: BC apparently is also adding something called the Emerald Pipe very soon, which will fulfill filter conditions in a round robin manner. See: http://www.railcraft.info/buildcraft-emerald-pipes/ Or, of course, I believe RP2's sorter can do something similar, but is somewhat...

Thaumcraft 3 more enjoyable without tech mods?

Of course, there's the awkward fact that you eventually discover what can simply be called Ancient Supertech - that is, the Logic Matrix Programmers, and the exo-suit. The Routers as well are really more supertech than magical... But the more accessible stuff, like the ore pipeline, I think fits...
