Hi, i have one question about nether wart farm.

I've read on forestry page, that you need right type of bees for growing nether wart in overworld.

So can anyone tell me if that is true and if so which bees do i need?

Thanks for hep

You can still grow it in the overworld, though. I have using the magic world pack in my basement. You just can't have much light, I believe.

Yup. If I had a mod installed or a config set to allow me to do that, outside of whatever is normal, I certainly didn't know about it.[DOUBLEPOST=1358618331][/DOUBLEPOST]You know you gotta grow it on soul sand, right?

I grow netherwart in the overwold in bright daylight without problems (dw20 pack)...

EDIT: I forgot to mention... It can be easily autofarmed using thaumcraft golems... :D

Good since i'm using same pack :D, but i'll be using forestry farm for starting since i can't yet have golems. I need nether warth for next research in thumcraft

Strictly speaking, you could camp out at a dark node and farm wisps, but that's painfully slow unless you start pumping flux into the dark node... which may not have been such a good idea, for me. It's also a nice way to get spirit aspects.

Long term, though, setting up a netherwart farm is probably the faster option - you will need flux aspects for a few other things.

I wouldn't even bother to make a forestry netherwart farm, just farm them manually for the research, you don't need that many.

Once you got the golems, it gets really easy. I have two straw golems (intelligence core) and one wood golem (perception core) covering a 19x19 farm area and they supply me with enough wheat, sugar canes, carrots, potatoes and netherwart for the moment (early/mid game)...
