Is Ore processing and sorting disappearing?

I don't argue any of that for a second, I was just tired of them crashing the server in Unleashed =P I'm pretty sure they're not the best for lag either. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

This is another place where dev attitude is a big part of the problem. As I understand it, the original plans were to add advanced machines of each type, but whenever questioned on this, reply "Advanced Machines already exists, why should we bother?" Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Is Ore processing and sorting disappearing?

Sorry, that wasn't directed at you so much as it was to say that while I don't feel any hostility toward the old systems like some people seem to, I'm a big supporter of using more advanced systems. I'm always yelling at my friend who insists on automating everything with golems. =P

What exactly is offensive about being told to play in creative mode?

I'm not really in the mood to read through this right now, but I'll give you my short take on this one, since it's one I've used myself, albeit amongst my group of friends: I had several friends who loved EE2. I argued that it was "Creative for people who don't want to play Creative" since it...

Is Ore processing and sorting disappearing?

I try not to use them these days, not because they're primitive, but because corrupt pipes and lines of chunk loaders had a habit of crashing/corrupting our world back in 1.2.5. I'm glad that the more "concentrated" systems are available these days, purely from a server admin standpoint. Big...

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

Don't recall that having a long range mode. Or an explosive mode. Or scatter mode. Or setting things on fire. Or, well, being super fast. I could go on. =P Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Take a look at my ideas for a "difficulty mod" then ;) Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Is Ore processing and sorting disappearing?

I would say that, here, zorn is a part of the vocal minority. The players of FTB have typically prioritized "cool" over "difficult". In other venues, the reverse is often true. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

FTB and Forge - Curse Partnership.

Well, thus why I said I was concerned I might have to move on to another pack. This is going to sound a bit abrupt and I apologize for that, but: the reason this thread is not locked is to collect feedback from members on how they feel about this, and I'm sharing my opinion. Sent from my HTC...

FTB and Forge - Curse Partnership.

I don't have any issues with Slow trying to do what he thinks is best, Ash, but I think it's fair to say that if we put the malware debate aside, plenty of people have given fair reasons for disliking Curse, myself included. To simplify it, I dislike Curse for much the same reasons I won't use...

FTB and Forge - Curse Partnership.

I'm not a fan of Curse myself, as you may have noticed, but can you expand on this, please? Unless you're just referring to the ads on the forums.

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

I suppose that depends on how many resources you have, both for crafting and storing purposes. Most of the time? You'll be better off with 16ks. But it really depends on your needs, not what we think.

Is Ore processing and sorting disappearing?

The problem there is that we're right back to staring the balance problem in the face. After a certain point, resources are trivial, no matter how many are required, but to make a hugely expensive/complex machine means that you also have to give that device equivalent value; that is to say...

Thoughts? I'll be rich in a matter of hours! Wait, it doesn't go to the person reporting it? Can it go to the person reporting it? Please? I've even caught one of Slow's in this thread, although I'll keep it to myself ;)

FTB and Forge - Curse Partnership.

I have to say that this news disappoints me somewhat; that is, by and large, a personal issue though, stemming from Curse's bad habit of taking over almost every fan site I've ever been a part of and using them to force their products on the userbase there. I approve of your stated reasons for...

Is Ore processing and sorting disappearing?

I majored in management and spent a further three years on leadership training, and a rather significant portion was purely on tone and positioning in electronic communications. The very shortened version of it is this: always put yourself in the other person's shoes and consider how you would...

FTB Horizons - General Feedback Thread

Well, yes, I did actually get that =P There's more than one way to get steel however; I would imagine they've just been unlucky with Manganese thus far but you can still melt down drops. Since you can jump straight to the smelter by using an AE grind stone to make your invar blend, or one of...
