    A couple RotaryCraft questions.

I used to live in Guelph, been to every uni/college campus in the tri-cities in that time, so, I know what you mean. Slightly different joke, though.

Temptation to make Brampton joke nearly overwhelming. Please read that as incredibly dry humour.

At the same time, you have to give them credit for that incredibly clever design. Sometimes you just have to applaud, really. Side note, please do not throw cats at anything, @Pyure .

It's only 13-14 million people, I'll get it right eventually. Besides, you're a programmer and you're developing 17 different mods for free. I'll just drop 20 bucks somewhere and wait. As soon as I have 20 bucks, anyway. I'm a writer. =P

We have your mod developer. He will be returned unharmed when the following demands are met.

Toronto's just around the corner, one of these days I'll go hold Reika hostage until he teaches me how to use RotaryCraft. And makes GeoStratum stone go in Forestry backpacks =P

You're absolutely right about that, but I think of Rotarycraft as generally being at more of an Industrial Revolution era, in terms of the technology being used in the early stages of the mod (putting aside the fact that even the most basic machines use HSLA steel, anyway =P) The concepts in...

    A couple RotaryCraft questions.

I was thinking more from a lag standpoint, but that's true too although there are several mods that address that in different ways. If you're playing a mod (or set of mods like your suite) in a "pure" environment, it can absolutely be necessary. I end up being the one administrating the server...

It's nice to have that sort of scalable option in some cases, too. I play on a very small private server run off one of my friend's computers; with 3+ people online it can get pretty difficult to go out mining. There's no problem though with puttering around the base and allowing processes...

Strongly suggest you read up on how dynamos worked back when we first started producing electricity ;) Although to be fair it was DC at the time; strictly speaking, an AC generator is a magneto. But all that aside, one way or another it absolutely does require magnetization. Well, it could be...

As you continue with this, please bear two additional considerations in mind; namely, server load and functionality. I understand what you are trying to do and I encourage you to keep doing so, but you're looking at this very one-dimensionally, if you'll pardon the unintended pun. Tesseracts...

Thanks for pointing that out :) From the way he's talking there I'm sure it's a config change. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

A lot of us just don't have the kind of time or patience in our lives at this point to be that breed ;) Treecapacitor's a good guess, but it's not in Horizons (or any FTB pack AFAIK) I think it's more likely a config option somewhere; I'll likely have to go to @Eyamaz directly on this one...

Oh, I just bet you two will get along ;) zorn's one of the go-to guys around here for "extreme difficulty", Mudkipz. He can probably help you out a lot.

Is it a mod or a config option causing fast tree decay in Horizons?

Balanced compared to what? Infinite ores from a laser drill? The ridiculous material return of a single quarry, that you can run off a couple of steam dynamos? Fields full of framed alvearies? I don't know exactly how the time/material investment compares to other resource solutions but in...

You could use the MFR unifier, but again, you need a block to start with. In this case, I recommend the Mariculture auto-dictionary. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
