For x-ray there is a mod that alerts you when specified resources are found. Set it to diamonds and when you see people hitting pockets of diamond one after another you can tp to them and see that they are mining straight for the veins every time.

It's "balanced" now... Used to be a good way to take down structures and erect them somewhere else with the builder... oh well

Use a minium stone for your crafting. The stone can also be used to covert into smelted materials in many cases.

Man the more I participate in minecraft forums the more my view of the minecraft community changes. All the people I've played with are nothing like what I'm seeing in this thread and on that link to the tekkit forums. Never thought minecraft people were so exclusive and unwelcoming.

I've noticed an attitude around the FTB community that does not favor IC2. It seems irrational to me. I blame gregtech.It's like people want to find excuses not to use it.

Didn't fix it, still constant memory problems after you respawn. Doesn't go away until you terminate the process.

With the new Direwolf pack it's giving me a memory error after every time I die, looks like a memory leak. Wonder if this will fix it.

Noticed that sometimes the block shoots the wrong way when you mine it and is lost in the fire, any way to 100% guarantee a safe collection?

You gotta protect your villagers with some walls, torches and iron golems or they die easy. If anyone is there to load the chunk when it's night time say bye bye.

You can make diamond ore tendrils now lol. Kinda makes the whole "balance" thing a bit ridiculous don't you think? Hopefully the other developers get the hint and focus on features instead of 'balance'.

Lol soon every recipe in the game will be a gregtech recipe. Can't wait till we need a dedicated gregtech machine to machine iron tools.
