Sorry for my contribution to making this another gregtech debate thread lol, it's just frustrating... I want to use gregtech but not so much that I'm going to cancel all of his millions of changes to other mods in the config every time.

Because Greg/slowpoke? wants to cull the community to do things his way. The proper thing to do is use a pulverizer because greg said so. I honestly don't know why more people don't have a problem with greg turning the whole pack into his game. He should add his contributions and stop there...

Don't like the idea of new windows and popups. Much better to have it concise and compact like the current launcher. Hate the way apple does things with every fiber of my being in fact.

I believe it's been mentioned but a way to change configs (gregtech) from easy to hard mode with a simple button would be awesome.

Well those are kind of atypical to minecraft as a whole and the server owners would be implementing special rules anyways.

What disadvantage? Minecraft isn't a competitive game.

This would be the best change ever. Does Gregtech easy mean no more 2 bronze for 4 copper/tin ingots?

When it comes to gregtech I just hope they make it "easy mode" by default so we don't have to labor through configs trying to get default recipes back every time.

I would think cutting down the clusterfuck of engines would be a good thing.

The main thing about REI's I like better is the fact that you can adjust the map update frequency which greatly effects your fps.

Also I believe NEI is doing something that causes a lot of fps lag. Whenever I'm in my inventory or a gui of a machine it slows a lot.

Try disabling the voxel stuff.

Yeah just noticed that, I agree actually I prefer Rei's and think it effects fps less than the current minimap. I hope they add it.

I agree about Voxel so I'll be disabling it. (easy enough to do) That's the beauty of an Ultimate pack, everything is there so you can pick and choose easily with the launcher. Why stick with DW20 and have to add stuff instead of just hitting the disable button on what you don't want?
