Best way to make an remote charging station?

got gregtech? Charge-O-Mat makes things easier. Without it you can do a set up with a mfsu/ender chest but will need to filter charged/uncharged items. edit: forgot about the universal charger, I've never used that yet!

Yeah, next time I do something like this (in whichever future version we get rp2 in) I'll be spending more time making the outside look nicer.

    Boilers woes

or connect your engines directly to the side of the boiler, as in the pic. What are you powering with the engines? conduit, energy cell, direct to machines? is everything full?

Hot air balloon aura node tugboat type thing! This was my first frame contraption so didn't want to go too big. 6-directionall drive controlled by wireless remote. Uses a 4x4x4 design found on these forums.

Lets See Some Bases! Give Us a Tour!

I like both. I prefer smaller footprints for my tanks and railcraft tanks offer more storage in a smaller space because they include the walls in the calculation. 1.5 version of railcraft has steel railcraft tanks that double the volume to 32 buckets per block so its going to be 3x3x? steel...

    plate bending machine automation?

You can change the output face with a wrench Bickers, it tripped me up at first too :)

    highest node capacity.

From a wiki somewhere: They do this [merge] when the distance squared is less than the average of the current aura levels in the two nodes. As to the original question, I've seen a picture of a 12k + node on these forums a few weeks ago.

    Best mining method?

See that right there is the problem for me, that doesn't sound like a game, it sounds like a job. If I was somehow motivated enough to do 12 hours of minecraft related coding I'd rather put that time into making a mod than making a turtle do what other things (quarries, frame bores, arcane...

    Applied Energistic Storage Room!

yeah, I found that out later, but still think cells is a tidier solution than plumbing liquiducts to the 4 faces of my grinder casings, plus would still need mercury cells or have the extra task of liquid mercury storage.

    Applied Energistics sorting question

If playing with gtech - 7 extruders/1 recycler needed to create enough scrap for a matter fab being fed 8k eu. Without gtech you burn through 100 times more scrap for the same power input so saving all your spare/unwanted blocks makes more sense.

Not gonna lie...that's creepy as f***

oil will still be there imo, just break a block and remove the dirt(?) block. If I remember right it's the centre base block that holds the tank info so don't break that one.

    Applied Energistic Storage Room!

I use this method to keep my industrial grinders full of water cells. export bus on transposer set to put cells in (or buckets in your case) import bus set to pull anything out level emitter facing the transposer (you could face it toward the export bus too) set to turn on when x cells are in...

    Best mining method?

That's the problem with this thread, 10 players can give you 11 answers because best is subjective. I like quarries because they're simple to set up and you can forget about them until they need moving.

    Making my EU work harder.

I should have clarified when I posted, I'm on 1.0.2 of ultimate, that has the 2.9.0h version of gregtech. In that and newer versions the matter fab is restricted to 8k eu/t
