With your new transfer node recipes, the ender pearl version of the recipe only gives one transfer node, is that intentional?

Another good source of clay is red cobblestone. Can run it through a carpenter that has a water source for easy automation.

The problem with relying on quests for knowledge is that they're not always timely. I needed clay long before I unlocked the quest that reminded me about dust in barrels. I didn't really think of this as an ex nihilo pack since there is no sieving at first. :) Still my fault for not noticing...

If you're seeing FTB Evolved it means you're on the FTB MODPACKS tab in the launcher instead of 3RD PARTY PACKS. The launcher is tabbed, you have to be in the right tab for the pack you're looking for.

Both are normal, you're playing a newer version of the pack than was featured in the youtube videos you have watched.

Just started playing the pack for the first time, chose the hard map. Bit of a struggle but I haven't starved yet. Was a bit slow figuring out clay and how to get oreberry bushes planted. 1 death when I misjudged the remaining health left on a creeper. Sadly it wasn't 2-hits, it was 3, lol. Die...

And that is why I like the early game better in just about every pack. Fight for everything, even bits of seaweed.

You can manually add DragonAPI back into the pack to fix that, if it is the same "utterly corrupted" I get every time I update.

Don't forget seaweed as an emergency food source.

A night vision potion completely blinds the player in the Deep Dark, I'm assuming night vision on the dark steel helm does not?
