    Openccsensors. It has a full api for scripting lua with computercraft, or if you dont know lua you can just use the proximity block

    Actually, here's a video of SinZ messing with chat command stuff :) I guess if everyone on the server was wearing glasses linked to the same spot loaded bridge, you could write some kind of server-side PMing system ;) Or just use twitter..

    Yes, they do :) If you're wearing the glasses, you can type any command, prefixed with "$$" and it'll send a "chat_command" event to your lua. So you could say... $$glasses, show me my tanks! and the computer could switch it to your tanks data!
